Best WLM Reviews

After hiking in Elk Knob State Park, I used the Bring Fido app to find a place in Boone where the dogs could go to lunch with us. Boone is a dog-friendly place, so we had a lot of choices. The Wild Craft Eatery menu was intriguing, so we went there. It was easy to find, and it had a parking lot, a plus in Boone. The patio was covered, a second plus. The hostess immediately gave the dogs water, and some other guests came over to pet them. They had a good selection of local beers, but all were in a can, sadly, no drafts. My friend and I ordered the Grilled Cheese Extraordinaire and Tomato Gouda Soup. Bob had the Watauga Burger and a salad. I ordered a side of chicken for the dogs, no seasoning. Everything was delicious. My friend and I even had dessert, one granny's apple pie, and a mudslide brownie. I recommend both.
This was a great experience. The staff were second to none. Warmly greeted and served with a smile. The food was expertly prepared and was exceptional!
This is a great little place to eat and has many vegan and vegetarian options!! A solid 4.5 because my wife's meal was completely the wrong meal brought to our table. Everything tasted and looked great minus our chicken slightly dry. If you want a peaceful, quiet meal, I suggest you eat inside because of Boone traffic. All in all a good experience here!
Kind of a limited menu, but what I had was good. Started with the tomato gouda soup. Had great flavor. Has a bit of a smokey flavor, like they may have used smoked gouda. The "curry" was more of a vegetable medley than anything, but was actually pretty tasty. I added chicken to it, and everything paired together really well.
We went with our older relatives who wanted to respect our diet. What a great place!
The avocado toast was spectacular and my favorite was the Nori
So many options! We'll be back!
Wild Craft Eatery is great slice of Boone right in the heart of downtown. Nova’s eclectic menu gathers together comfort foods from different cultures and seamlessly offers them in a cozy, inviting space. Wild Craft is great for the family. Grab a drink or entree before a local show, or spend an entire evening in the friendly confines!
Since Boone is a small town, there aren't many "healthy options", I say this even though I realize almost every restaurant does have healthy options, but there aren't many solely centered on eating healthier. So this restaurant is a blessing in that not only does it have healthy food but it is absolutely delicious! In particular, the cheese you get with the nacho dip is spectacular, I've had their mahi tacos which were cooked to perfection with just enough spice to make it hot but not drown out the flavor. They also have probably one of the best burgers I've had in a while with some amazing spicy mayo and chopped tomatoes and onions on a beautifully cooked medium well Burger. The inside Ambiance is very tranquil and the outdoors has a good view of downtown along with it being dog friendly is a great bonus.
Great fresh healthy food that is delicious. Caribbean and southwest influenced dishes. Awesome selection of veg and vegan options.
