Great environment
I was celebrating ???? ???? my birthday in Columbia and visiting some friends. Well, we went to Wild Crab and the
Waitress started off with a bang ????Food was great, and we were just vibing, but shortly after finishing our meal. We received the check but wanted to finish our drinks ????, well it didn't go as planned, Waitress stood over us waiting for us to pay so I ignored it the first and then she came back and stood over us once again. Drinks still half full, so I got fed up, paid, and left. I had just told my friend I'll give her $10 for good service, but after what happened, I changed my mind.
Very filling ate over 2 days. Dislike that they give you 3 whole russet potatoes . Why not cut them up, food was seasoned very well!
What a great place! This has to be one of my favorite places. The crab ( and other shellfish) was excellent. I call it a crab boil, but I think they call it something different. They have some set on the menu, but if you don't want one of those, there is the option to pick your own seafood for it. ( For example, one had something like crab, shrimp, and muscles but I don't care for muscles so I just picked what I wanted.) You also pick your spices ( I picked Cajun) and the heat level. I picked medium, which was perfect to give a bit of heat but not so hot that I couldn't taste the food because my mouth was on fire. I also love that they have a sink on the back wall to wash up since my hands got a bit spicy, opening them crablegs, and there was no reason to crowd the restroom to wash my hands. It isn't cheap here but then again seafood isn't cheap anywhere. I think it is a fair price for what they give. Service is excellent. I highly recommend this place.
I like the food here but this last time we got dinner to go the food was a bit more salty and had less flavor and way more butter. I know that it has to have butter but not this much. I’ve eaten here before and the flavor was not the same. Also the size of the shrimp has decreased since the first time I ate here. But I will definitely eat here again in the future.
I have a friend that loves this place for to go, so we went today and ate inside. They have a full liquor bar as well. I had the snow crab legs, she had 2 pounds of crawfish. Both were super delicious! We also had hush puppies and fried okra, okra was a little too soft for us, maybe request crispy if you'd like. Hush puppies were delicious! Service was good and great meal!
My husband and I love this place. We both get the crab leg boil and it’s always amazing. It comes with corn and potatoes, which really soak up the flavor from the boil. The French fries are also good. Service is good as well
The food was amazing. Customer Service was okay she was nice and polite , but she messed up our orders , kept saying she can come back. We was first time so we didn’t really understand the menu too much and forgot to bring my water .. She didn’t bring it until we checked out Other than that, I recommend to anyone.
I order1 lb snow crab , 1/2 shrimp, 1/2 clams, they come with potatoes, sweet corn…and I finished all :) because they taste great and fresh. Service was good too! Will go back again before I leave Columbia. Thank you!
