First time at this wonderful establishment!! The Wild crab Cajun seafood and bar is a must stop for all! My wife had the deep fried flounder with sweet potato fries and a side of broccoli. She loved her meal! I had the deep fried catfish and shrimp basket. And the Cajun fries! This is after we shared the fried cheese sticks that came free with two basket orders. Everything was cooked to perfection!! The best seafood we have has since Florida this past summer! Ask for Melissa! She is a total sweetheart and took great care of us! All of the staff was extremely pleasant. We can’t wait to come back here as we like about two hours away.
The decor is outstanding & everyone was super friendly.
Fast service, great drinks and great food.
I loved the lemon pepper flavoring. Bummed there isn't one by me.
Because I am definitely craving everything!!!
We were traveling through town and I found this restaurant using Google Maps. I am glad we stopped! This was the first time I had a Seafood Boil in the bag, and I loved it! I ordered Shrimp & Scallops with Mild Garlic Butter Sauce. I also ordered a side of Broccoli which the server asked if I wanted inside the bag. Not knowing the experience, it remained on the side. Had I known what to expect, I definitely would have asked for it to be inside. But, I ended up mopping up all the delicious flavor with the broccoli heads anyway, so no big deal.
I see why a bib and gloves are provided! I needed and used them for this messy but delicious meal! My husband enjoyed his blackmail photo of me decked out in my garb! ????
We went at an off-peak time, and our table service was fine.
My only complaint is I feel the restaurant really went overboard with the Halloween décor! Too graphic.
got the chicken Po Boy with fries and it okay was noting special tbh, with how the chicken was colored & tuff it seems it was freezer burnt.
The food itself was pretty great, we did build our own combos of the seafood boil.
I don't recommend getting the sausage. It leaves you wanting for more flavor.
I did not enjoy the fact we got a piece of "net " which in my opinion & my husbands appeared to be more of a hair in the boil.
They did say it was a net, and no apology or anything was done and thats fine we didn't expect anything free nor did we want to leave once they replaced our food.
It just brought the mood down a couple notches for the entire experience
They did replace the food with entirely new food, and left the old bag with us while they brought a new one so no doubts.
The bathrooms are pretty gross, doors are greasy and you can tell since they're a matte black and they shine were people touch them.
Our server was alright, but I did feel pressured into tipping more, and felt bad
We got a tab of $103 for only two people and thats understandable since its a seafood boil, but she did underline the 18% tip recommended
We only left $10 in cash. And she did give us bev. To go since we never got refills on our drinks during the meal.
So I just felt a bit guilt tripped. They do have a sign at the door for parties over 6 people they add I don't remember if 10-15% tips to your bill.
All in all it was ok. We MIGHT go back but it the experience left a lot to be desired
The food alone great. But our personal experience not so good.
Coming home from California and found this on google maps. Love the atmosphere and it reminded me of crab shake in Texas. Hubby and I had fish and shrimp baskets. Both good eating, though maybe a little over cooked. Fried pickles were harty in size.. waitress was friendly and helpful. Of course we had to sit in the big chair...lol, the hostess was kind enough to take our photo.
They have a great fried catfish meal. The fries are crisp and hot. The giant TV screen is excellent and they have a couple good craft beers on tap.
I was not impressed. Our seafood bag was not shaken nor opened when placed on our table so when I shook it got all over my pants. The amount of seafood was decent. We requested the wild crab special sauce and it was quite diluted. The sausage was really salty and the hard boiled eggs were over cooked. I won’t be coming again. Wasn’t worth the price.
