Nothing quite like waiting 34 min for a dine in order just to get cold food. There was a solid 20 min window where there was literally nothing being served. Watched my order sit in a window as the packed Togo orders and sent everything that came in after me out. Maybe it's just a bad day. Order 377 12/22/24
When you want some soul food, this is the place to go! My husband got the fried liver dinner and I got the fried gizzards dinner. Delicious!
The service was awesome, but the roast beef tasted like it was out of a can. Both myself and my mom had roast beef and agree. The okra was very good. The atmosphere look like a cheap run-of-the-mill mom and pops restaurant with a few decorations to remind you that you're in Wifesavers.
Delicious. I’ve never had a bad meal at Wife Savor. Try the Pot Roast, fried okra, and banana pudding - to start. This place is nothing but one big comfort meal
We always enjoy coming here. The chicken is tasty, love the Mac ‘n cheese, and the broccoli casserole is another favorite. The fried pork chops are scrumptious & tender as well, without being dry or over seasoned.
This was our first time eating at this location. It was outstanding ! I had pot roast and potatoes with gravy, and I could enjoy a meal that was so tender.
My husband had the chicken tenders, and he said they were the best he had ever eaten.
It was about lunchtime, and they were busy, but food was served in no time !
It was very clean, plenty of light and friendly workers.
I'm sure we will go back before we leave South Carolina back to Tennessee.
If you have a chance to eat here, go! You will be impressed ! Scale 1- 10, I give a 12 !
The fried chicken is amazing, and budget friendly. It would be nice if the person in the window would smile and make eye contact. I'm not terribly impressed with the sides, but the fried chicken is bom-diggity delicious. I'm sure they brine the chicken and pressure cook it. So good.

I think Wife Saver is the best place to get fried chicken in Augusta! Their chicken strips are superb, and their honey mustard sauce is amazing. Their sides are great too, especially the Mac and cheese and cabbage. They are not very expensive either. I highly recommend and would definitely get food from there again!
