Fast southern food. I ordered fried shrimp broccoli casserole and mac and cheese. I wasn’t to fond of the mac and cheese. It wasn’t bad, just not my favorite. However, the shrimp and casserole were very good. A lot of food and not expensive. Sorry forgot to take the tops off of the sides. Very friendly staff as well.

There is a wife saver in my area. However, I travel to the Augusta location when I'm craving good soul food. The food is delicious and seasoned to perfection. Be careful drinking the sweet tea. It's very sweet and gives diabetes. Service is also excellent. Keep up the good work!
The first thing I have to say is the food is absolutely delicious and the staff are amazing. They treat you like family when you walk in the door and always have a smile on their faces. The chicken fingers, mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese and banana pudding are some of the dishes you definitely have to try. Let’s not forget you get a ton of food for your money. If you want to know what great Southern Fried chicken and more taste like you should definitely try this place out. I can’t say enough. They have always been amazing.
Ordered at drive thru, ordered four chicken wings, a roll, and banana pudding (no sides) was told my total cash price was $13 and some change. When I got to the pick up window, the woman said my total was $22.22. I noted that could not be correct and she was argumentative so I told her to keep the order and left. I went right down the street to Bojangles, got a two piece breast dinner with two sides and a biscuit for $10.47, had great customer service and great food. I will never return to this wife saver again as it is ghetto, and it appeared that the woman at the window was trying to scam me out of $9 cash.
Don’t let the building keep you away because you’ll miss out on some great Southern cooking. Definitively get the black eyed peas and turnips.
Been coming here while going through Augusta for years . Very good country cooking . The portions are smaller than in the past but food is still good. Mac and cheese could use more cheese but overall really great . Friendly staff and good customer service.
The chicken was savory, the Mac & Cheese was delicious as always, and Jerry did a great job taking care of us while we had our Sunday supper.
The fried chicken was pretty good, but the mac-n-cheese and greens were not! The noodles for the mac-n-cheese were far too overcooked to be enjoyable and the green beans were too heavily salted.
..and the place wasn't clean...
I finished my meal because I didn't want to seem rude. I had already obviously frowned at something. A WS team member saw my expression and shared that the tables were clean but the grease on the tables was from them frying turkeys all day...????
