We drove all the way from Virginia and they did not disappoint. The food and service were fantastic. The restaurant was clean and the crew was friendly. Definitely will make the long drive back.
What a unique little place! I had my first Chicago dog, it was delicious! The cheese filled jalapeño poppers were the best we've ever had. The man behind the counter was super cool and welcoming!
Well, sometimes you can go back and then are times you can't. Tonight was a mix for sure.

Love me my Der Weinerschnitzel Chilli cheese dog, no onions and a dill pickle slice to top it off. Been my favorite here for more that 53 years and second best is the polish sandwich - which was their special tonight!!
As I have a long drive home and have had stomach issues I opted for the polish and even added fries for the first time in decades possibly.
The fries were fresh and looked like the ones from McDonald's or Steak n Shake BUT tasted far, far better.
Now maybe my age is getting to me as my mouth just can't handle spicy foods and I was caught by surprise that the sandwich really has a "bite" to it. So much so that I was able to just finish the one polish.
Not saying it was bad. No, no. In fact the rye bread was great, love the pickle but the polish was a tad spicy for me...I guess I'm a p@@@@ after all.
Good servicee. Quick. And personable. So I would have done 5 stars but I know I am going to suffer on the ride home...LOL.
We are from originally from the west coast and don’t have a Weinerschnitzel around us so we drove the extra 2 hrs just to come. We order our meals and then ordered 40 chili dogs to go. The staff was amazing and super nice with our big order. Definitely recommend!!
Part of the high rating is due to it being the only one within a 3 hour drive from us. So we stop here whenever we're in this area. More of a nostalgic reason to eat here for us. But the Chilli is good!
Wienerschnitzel is awesome. They offer both regular dogs and all beef, chili dogs being the star, and they have absolutely great specialty dogs such as the junkyard dog and chicago style. The icecream is great, and unlike mcdonalds the machine is working! 10/10 great place, great menu, great staff
The food was great and the staff was super friendly. We had to wait like 10 minutes for a huge order. The think I enjoyed was that they just told us to park on the side and the food would be right out since they have a lunch rush. Overall it was a great experience and will definitely be back again.
P.S. get the chili cheese fries they are the best. A little messy but what good food isn’t?
Love the Chilli Sauce and buy a case everytime I am out of it. Very good Vegan Chicago Dog to Girlfriend Loves it. Always hot and Great flavor.
