I recently visited Wienerschnitzel and I was blown away by the overall experience. The ambiance was surprisingly inviting, with clean and well-maintained seating areas that made my meal even more enjoyable. The service was top-notch as well, with friendly and attentive staff members who went out of their way to ensure my satisfaction. And let's talk about the food! The menu had a great variety of options, and my order was served hot and fresh. The flavors were absolutely delicious, exceeding my expectations for a fast food restaurant. I highly recommend Wienerschnitzel for a fantastic dining experience.
The place was great and the food was good as well. I gave 4 stars only because the floats we got with the meal had no bubbles in the soda, and ice cream was not the portion it should have been because they ran out halfway through our drinks. Instead of asking us if we would like to wait for the new batch to be ready, they just served us the drinks not complete. Other than that, it's a great place to grab a quick bite and feel nostalgic all at once! I also like how you can still order street-side as you are walking by, it really is very convenient.
Wienerschnitzel is situated on East Santa Clara, located in a less desirable area across from Roosevelt Park. I gave it a try one day out of sheer hunger, as it was the closest option. To my pleasant surprise, the brat with onions and mustard was excellent—every bit as delicious as the ones I used to enjoy in Wisconsin. However, the service left much to be desired. The woman who took my order had limited English proficiency, making it difficult to communicate my request for a brat and a cup of water. I had to ask multiple times for napkins and water. Despite this, I found a clean table outside to dine at.
Unfortunately, when I requested to use the restroom to wash my hands before eating, I was informed that there were no restroom facilities available and was directed to use the one at Roosevelt Park. Declining the offer due to concerns about cleanliness, I decided to eat without washing my hands.
Wienerschnitzel is located on East Santa Clara in a not so nice area across from Roosevelt Park. I decided to try it one day when I was starving and it was the closest place. I was very pleasantly surprised! The brat with onions and mustard was excellent, every bit as good as the ones I used to get in Wisconsin. The service was not so great. The woman who took my order barely spoke English and I had a hard time ordering a Brat and cup of water. I had to ask several times for napkins and a cup of water. I ate at one of the tables outside and it was very clean. On the down side, I asked to use the restroom to wash my hands before eating and she said they do not have a restroom and told me to go use the one at Roosevelt park. No thank you! I would not set foot in that filthy bathroom. I decided to risk eating with dirty hands.
I live by here (can see the roof from my window). Sometimes they host lo-rider events and bring in a ton of cash. Other than that, no bathroom, no indoors. Mostly a yellow hot dog and chili dog stand, and I don't eat hot dogs, hardly ever.
