Wienerschnitzel has been slept on. I have eaten a lot of dogs in my life and I can say without a doubt this was top ten. Service was quick and friendly. Food was amazing. Next time you past by, stop and get a chili cheese dog and some jalapeño poppers you won’t regret it.
Timing is everything related food service. Recognize faces, make sure treat right lunch, dinner, breakfast. Best croissants.
Enjoy Junkyard All Beef on Pretzel Bun paired with large bacon ranch French Fries. Polish sandwich etc... This Best Der Wienerschnitzel eaten at period. Stands out. Drop 20 and say thank you.
The crew was very busy . Spoke to two of the employees. Very polite and helpful. The order got out to us quickly. The food was hot and tasted good.
If you like chili cheese glizzys, this the SPOT. Service was quick, and the food was cheap and delicious. Jalapeño poppers have great flavor and aren’t too spicy. I will be returning for the glizzys. Order more than one dawg because they’re kind of small.
First time trying it but certainly not my last. Always heard about Wienerschnitzel from my bro from California so when I saw one was in New Mexico while headed home to Texas I HAD to stop.... Tried their 100% beef Texas Dog and Polish Kansas Dog... BOTH were good... I wasn't TOO pleased with the chilli cheese fries. However, they weren't so bad to where it ruined everything...
I’ve eaten here for over 35 years. But recently, I noticed a big change in service and quality of food. The girl that was working the window appeared high as a kite (Stoned). I was informed the new owners no longer allow the deluxe cheese burger to be made because they don’t carry lettuce. NEW OWNERS!!!
Now I understand why things have changed for the worst. Price increase and food and services decrease. I am missing Mr. Haley. This used to be my go to place, I guess I’ll need to find another where I can get a burger with lettuce, tomato, onion along with a chili dog. I read the most recent reviews and it appears I’m not the only one who has seen a change for the worst. New Owner get a grip you’ve increased prices and don’t honor franchise specials and your service is bad with stoned employees keep it up and I don’t see our beloved DER sticking around long.
I just read Mr. Haley no longer owns this place. That makes sense to me now. I ordered an ice cream cone in a cup, it was good, almost smaller than usual, 6 piece jalapeño poppers, only got 5, and a k9 hotdog (plain dog no bun for dog), didn't get it at all and didnt realize it til i was too far to turn around and waste gas to get it. Never in 40+ yearz going there have I ever had things like this happen. Not ever. Til tonight. I'm so disappointed. Mr. Haley will definitely be missed . This seemed like the last place to go that hadn't been ruined by this generation of workers.
