Staff was super friendly. The menu is really small but what they do they do great.
Plenty of seating but around 12:30 was pretty packed. The line moved fast and there was little wait for my food
Welcoming and friendly service. Kids had cheeseburgers while adults tried their new, limited item, the Lupanator. Everything was delicious.
A group of 5 visiting from out of state ordered carry out for lunch. Everyone agreed the fast food was tasty. We had a small hiccup with one order that missed some of the requested customizations, otherwise great service. I had two hotdogs (chili cheese with onions, and the chard dog) with a side order of fried mushrooms. Good-sized portions. For takeout, the temperature was hot and the food was fresh. If I lived locally, I would return for certain.this was my first experience with the melted mertks cheese; it was soooo good!
I absolutely love this place. Every visit to Wiener Take All has been a delightful experience. The staff is extremely friendly, always welcoming with a smile and ready to help with any questions or requests. The food they make is absolutely delicious, consistently exceeding my expectations. The menu offers a great variety of tasty options, and everything I've tried has been top-notch.

Unfortunately, I've noticed flies inside the restaurant on multiple occasions, which can be quite bothersome while dining.
- Very Dirty Bathrooms:
The cleanliness of the bathrooms leaves much to be desired. They are often very dirty, which detracts from the overall experience.

Perfect Chicago dog, amazing chili dogs, great atmosphere. I highly recommend this Resturant if you want quick and cheap but still delicious food.
Old fashioned Chicago-style hot dog and sandwich joint with a good vibe and terrific food. In an area surrounded by so many restaurants, it feels great to enjoy the simple pleasures I've enjoyed for decades -- staples such as snappy dogs on steamed poppyseed buns, perfectly cooked fries, I-beefs, Merkts cheese, sausages, authentic gyros and so many more. Daily specials are solid deals, and prices are still nicely moderate. Always a smile and a fun attitude on the staff helps make you feel like an old friend -- even as a first-timer after decades away. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
talk about a buffalo grove staple that has absolutely fallen off a cliff after the new ownership. Weiner used to sponsor many of the baseball teams i was on when i was a little kid and everyone would go there after games. But man oh man, this place pumped up the prices while bringing down the quality and quantity you get. i was served one of the most pathetic beef sandwiches with a tiny fry and it cost 15$. absolutely pitiful. plus the older guy taking orders acts like he doesnt want to be there making it very awkward while giving your order. this place absolutely sucks now. do yourself a favor and go across the street to nikki's gyros, it is miles better with nicer people working there. Goodbye WTA i had great memories there with family and friends and now that has all gone away.
I am extremely sad to write this review since we’ve been long time huge fans of wiener take all even after new ownership they even catered my sons birthday party last year!
But I just spent $51 worth of food ….which usually is no big deal since it’s wiener take all and we love it and honestly it was the worst we’ve ever had !
I’m surely hoping it was an off day and the owner makes it right because he’s a good guy … but the Gyro meat was completely burnt it was so hard it was chewy my son couldn’t eat any of it and there was barely any sauce on it !
we had someone’s random order in our bag that we never place as well
and on top of that the side of your meat as well was burnt so that couldn’t be eaten????????♀️
the hotdog had maybe a couple onions on it but a overpowering amount of relish … all soggy I just don’t understand what happened ?
it kind of even tasted like dirty water … you know like it tasted a little foul even then pita has the same taste … and that is definitely not how this restaurant usually presents their food!
