Room smelled weird. Bathroom door did not close properly. The carpet in the room had a strange odor. The only good thing was it was a good distance from Easton’s Beach. Only worth staying if spending one night. No daily room service.
My family booked this creepy hotel from Thursday July27th to Sunday July 30th. But we ended up leaving a day early due to its uncleanliness and disgusting odors. Firstly we walked in the motel and it felt like 100 degrees and it smelled like a smoky nursing home. Then nobody was at the check in desk . After we got the keys we entered hell, the beds had brown stains and hairs and the room reeked of smoke. To top it there was no room service and they had the nerve to leave an envelope for a tip. To add more this creepy dirty motel had no tissues. Please I hope I can save someone from going to this disgusting motel. Pay more and go to a better hotel. Lastly. There were few men that were coming and going as they please and they were smoking.
This is by far the worst lodging I've ever stayed in, in my 71 years. First, I asked Priceline for an accessible motel. This turned out NOT accessible. Step up at the door, four steps up to check in. I had to make do with my cane and careful walking. The room smelled of urine, the sheets were yellowed, the carpet was stained and had burn marks, and the one chair was a broken "office" chair that couldn't be adjusted. All in all, AVOID this lodging at all costs! If I wasn't so tired, after a long drive, I would have tried to find something else. If you are disabled, don't bother!
I have been here a few times before and each time it has been comfortable and clean. Great for a quick over night stay or a couple days stay as you do activities in neighboring town and within the town itself.
Older motel, some upgrades, mainly my bathroom was like new. Good cable TV package. Bed very comfortable and building mostly very quiet. Good to get away to, a night or two.. No snack machine, has a soda machine but only water in bottles at the time. Ice machine was broken, days of my visit.... though small stores are nearby for soda, snacks. Etc. ( 7-Eleven , shell food mart ) Few stains on the carpet of my room and around the A/C unit..
Room was not clean, stains/hairs on the sheets. Hallway smelled werid. Rude service at the front desk reception. Burn marks on the carpets, just overall not worth the price we paid. We did recieve a refund. Understand it was a overnight, no frills stay but the bed could have aleast been clean if anything!
The desk man was efficient and kind. My room was pretty bad. On arrival, the trash bin did not have a liner, there was take out spaghetti from a previous guest left in the refrigerator, two lightbulbs were out and a window would not shut. The manager brought me a liner, took the past guest's left over food and fixed the window. However, when I said that he might want to tell the chambermaid about the food, he said she would just say she never made mistakes. It was not worth it The toilet kept running and instead of hassling them, I dealt with it. The toilet paper was the kind that is probably about 25 cents a roll.The people were nice but the room was just not prepared well. Also, my lampshades were cracked and there was quite a bit of chipped paint in the tub. I generally stay in hotels in the 60-100 range so I am not one to expect flufffy towels or fancy accoutrements.
Beds were OK, Room was very dark, TV remote didn't work, they got one from a different room and it worked. AC worked but unclear how to set it up. Was annoying. Sheets and pillowcases were clean but had a H.D. clorox smell.
Over priced for what you got in my estimation, but nothing else available when we booked it 2 months prior.
