It was my first time having blue crab!
The waitress was extremely nice and taught me how to crack them open.
The food was delicious; and definitely worth a detour. Fresh, and flavorful. The price was fairly reasonable.
If you can, try the baked oysters as an appetizer.

I ordered fried crabs and she crab soup yesterday and got all the way to my sisters and couldn’t even eat the food it was so disgusting. My crabs were overcooked and fried in dirty grease. You could actually smell the old grease on them and when I attempted to break open 1 crab to try and eat it, the claw smelled like hair chemicals. My she crab soup was so thick like chowder that I was afraid to eat it thinking they gave me the wrong soup. Nothing about it was soup. Either they gave me crab dip or someone really messed up that batch of so called soup. I called several times to no avail to let them know and request a remake or refund but they never answered the phone. I will be disputing this charge because I had no way of resolving this order with them. I threw everything in the trash and wasted $25 and still had to find something else to eat for dinner. This establishment needs to learn how to answer the phone and change their grease because the food I received was not even edible. Note to Wicker- ANSWER THE PHONE TO HELP YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS
When arrived the sign on the door said closed but the bar was open to sit in for dining but there was no sign that let you know that. Went around to door to goin and it was locked. The waitress told me to sit anywhere. I ordered the lunch special 1/2 soup amd 1/w po boy. I had she crab soup amd oyster po boy with house made chips. The only good thing was the house made chips. The she crab soup barely had crab in it. It had too much sherry and was lukewarm. The po boy had 5 oysters that looked great but not hot. The bead for the sandwich was delicious. The house made chips rocked. Of course, anyone knows a true fish restaurant has key lime pie. I ordered and the first thing was raspberry sauce on the bottom of the plate.Yuck!! This was totally disappointing. There was no lime taste at all. Not even a hint of a pucker. Now I had been wanting to try this restaurant for years. I was highly disappointed. Once again no seafood restaurant here that meets my standards.
Being a native, this is probably my favorite hidden gem around. I can't speak highly enough of how fresh their food always is and their service is always top notch. It's a very laid back atmosphere with the best tasting seafood and house made sides. If you try here, they will not disappoint!
AMAZING FOOD! If you love seafood you must come. The crab dip was fire! Had the fried flounder and crab chunks in butter sauce. Green beans were grilled and best I've had. Our server Christina was very attentive and friendly. Great experience. Want to come back tommorrow
This is my first time ever coming here I've must have came here on the wrong day because what I ordered was Captain Wicker's seafood platter It was supposed to be broiled it didn't look like it was barely had any flavor or color and the lump crab meat in the shell there was like two pieces of lump in the whole entire thing It didn't taste bad but it was only two pieces ????♀️ It was mediocre You could have just added a little bit more seasoning to the flounder and the shrimp because it had no taste it's like all they did was sprinkled paprika on it like you could have put some lemon butter garlic sauce something ????♀️on it but nothing at all but the waitress is very nice cuz I don't eat oysters and she gave me two extra shrimp instead of the oysters and then I got a dozen female blue steamed crabs I don't know if they were sitting out there or when did they even steam them but when I got home and ate one it made me sick I still have 11 crabs sitting in the refrigerator probably most likely have to throw out these crabs have no flavor They smelled funny one of the worst blue crabs I've ever had in my life the food to me wasn't good sorry The hush puppies were great ???? I drove all the way from Hampton to come get these crabs ????♀️ You got to do better with your flavor and get a different chef or something especially for the prices of things probably won't come back here for a long time unless you get a different chef ????
I received bad blue crabs! They had to know the crabs were no good! The manager said I could bring them back but it’s a 20 minute drive for me and I don’t feel like going back. I wasted $30 and I broke them all open that’s why they look like this but for a manager to say bring them back to us. Ummm I’m

I was really impressed. Proportions with really huge, food was really fresh and presentation was really nice to look at . the only reason why I gave the food four stars is because the crab boil was bland and did not have any garlic butter with it. if you asked for it they will only give you garlic powder the boil goes need some kind of liquid in the bottom with garlic. I will definitely be going back
