I had blood drawn at the lab and found the lab and the phlebotomist very pleasant and efficient. I don’t remember the gal’s name but she is one of the best I’ve ever had. I have old lady veins and she located a good one on the first try. It usually takes 2-3 tries. No pain, no bruising this time!
The Dr nurses n thecs are nice people but 6 days ago I was in with my wife in the ER in pain and bleeding in a way she should not be while pregnant. So the ER Dr stated he could only do a blood test and a UA but was unable to do a ultrasound at that time.. so my wife and I looked at each other and said that will not help with the pain or know what is going on with the baby so we just ask for a discharge papers later in the night pain got worse and went to Dell Webb they did the ultrasound my wife baby was no longer there she had a miscarriage.. ER at wickenburg hospital had really went down Hill! Now today I went in to see my dad in the acute unit and the rooms were filled up with COVID patients here in the wickenburg hospital not one nurse or thec had used hand sanitizer going in or out the COVID rooms not even have the proper gear on not even a n95 gloves etc. they had even left the COVID doors open which will allow it to transfer by air out of rooms. My dad is very nervous and no longer want the care of the hospital his nurse came out of a COVID room and touched my Dad's stuff. I used to work here at the hospital during the pandemic and fallow the simple guidelines to prevent transfer or catching anything but now I have no idea what the head nurse or CEO is letting them do but make more dangerous for the rest that don't have those issues COVID c-diff etc I feel bad for housekeeping future. Now as of today Friday 12/13/24 after my dad discharge that day he now back in the hospital with pneumonia and COVID I wonder ???? humm let's see my dad had been feeling worse since his last visit I get there today for his condition his door is wide open nurse walks in and hands me his home clothes dirty no gear no mask no hand sanitizer nothing I no longer work there i was the only one with a n95 in the hallway using hand sanitizer during my visit
Mandi Filla and the girls in the office are terrific! I was greeted and seen in a timely manner. I needed a couple of referrals and they were done the next day. I also got help with a referral for my mom (she's 87). The clinic person contacted the provider and my mom was seen the next day (after I waited for 7 days for the provider to contact me after they received the referral). The Wickenburg clinic has friendly helpful staff who take the time to help you. This level of service never happened with Kaiser in California!
I know it’s breast cancer awareness month. Everybody took great care and got their jobs done very well. They could sense that I was so nervous. Anticipation is very high. I had to return to redo my Breast Exam and then ended up having to do a sonogram as well so the doctor can be sure there’s no suspicious Results, but I was so scared. I even shed a few tears in worry and I was treated with dignity and compassion.
Dr. Kravitz was great. I felt like he was truly concerned about my well being. Leslie was absolutely fantastic while drawing my blood. She was friendly and had an uplifting attitude.
I went into the emergency room yesterday because I had experienced chest pain and body aches early that morning. The staff Dr Reid and Taryn the RN were wonderful. They were thorough and kind. Friendly and helpful.
My issue was more with the clinic hospital interface. I arrived at the hospital for lab work waited 30 minutes and was told the clinic hadn't coded my order correctly. I couldn't wait that day while it was corrected. I came back the next day and nothing had been done so again after waiting to find out I left. I did get a call later that day telling me the issue was resolved so I came back a third time and it was successful. I have no problems with my primary care provider NP Fila( she does an outstanding job) and the staff at the hospital were helpful. But it shouldn't take three trips to get basic lab work done.
I understand mistakes happen but I expect them to be resolved in a timely way.

The Lexiscan nuclear stress test unit was overbooked and understaffed, but were all incredibly nice, patient and super helpful! For a super long 5 hrs, the staff made it nice and relaxing as much as possible. I can't remember everyone's names, but Melissa who did the ports was just awesome! The ultrasound gal was too! And thank you to Brian for stepping in to help! Your team was a pleasure to be treated by!
