Best WLM Reviews

First off, we had the Wicked Hot sauce, which was delicious but extremely hot. Like really really hot. Some of the hottest wings I've ever had. The wings were cooked perfectly and generously sauced, prices are a bit steep though (which is unfortunately pretty common across the board these days). Good selection of local beers. Service was prompt and attentive. My two complaints were that they don't allow you to split a large order of wings (for example, 24) to get two different sauces. If you want that you have to order two smaller amounts (like 12 and 12) which is WAY more expensive. I definitely would have bought more if you could split an order between two sauces. Also, and this might just be personal preference, but the falafel bites we ordered seems a bit burned, so I'd be cautious about ordering those again. But overall, the wings were excellent, if a bit expensive. I'd be willing to go back and try a few different sauces if I'm in the area again.
Service was good and their house special "Wicked Wings" are fantastic - Crispy deep fried, then seasoned and sauce before grilling to finish off. You have to try them, but make sure you have friends with as only come in orders of 24. The handmade tater tots are pretty good with nice crispy outside. The grilled chicken sandwich was okay, next time would for sure go with fried chicken sandwich.
Here in town and decided to give this place a try. Glad I did. Boneless wings were good. Curly fries with their ranch were an added bonus. Picked up my order. The inside of the restaurant had plenty of seating and looked clean.
I order from wicked wings because honestly I love them. Now for some reason I tend to never get the same quality every time I order. The wings I got the first time there made me addicted. The second time there was a little mess up but the customer service was great. But today I ordered wings and decided to try to save myself some hassle so I added “Wet”. Which is an additional charge. When I received my wings they looked as if the barely had sauce. I called to tell them that it happened again and was told by the Owner I could get my wings some where else. I always take picture of my food when it’s not done correctly. Even offered to bring them back so he could see. But since his cook has worked there 20 years he stood behind him. Which I applaud if he was in the right. As I tried to apologize because I didn’t mean to offend him. He hung up in my face.
The wings were good and we ordered several different kinds. They weren't out of this world (wet sauces had minimal sauce) but good wings regardless. We ate at the restaurant, which was decent inside. We ate on a Sunday, which had the wing special. The special is at a good price but is only an in house special, and doesn't apply when you order out, which wasn't clearly stated when we ordered. Not a big deal, until...
We got full, had 4 wings left and wanted to take them home. They said that they charge full price for the wings if you want to take them home. After working in restaurants for years, this seems like another classic case of pinching pennies and losing dollars. Not gonna go back.
Placed an order online for delivery of one dozen boneless wings. Pricing was extremely high, but work was paying for it, so the $50 for curly fries and wings didn’t phase me.
I meant to order the wings with sauce on the side, however failed to do so (didn’t see the option for that). Normally, this wouldn’t be an issue, and I’d power through eating my less than crunchy, average, pre-sauced, delivered-across-town-in-a-bag wings. Unfortunately, I received wings that were DRENCHED in a downpour of sauce. Literal tsunami.
I tried eating a few of them, but there was just so much sauce that it was too unpleasant to continue. Pictured is the bottom of my container after trying to salvage the swimming pieces of chicken.
Called to complain politely, and customer service was neutral I suppose. Not used to complaining, so I wasn’t really sure what to say or ask for. Unfortunately they did not have a delivery service and were unable to bring me a batch of wings with no sauce, and I did not feel like driving across town to pick up a new batch, so I just took it as an opportunity to inform them about the issue and will be moving on with my day.
PLEASE… IF YOU ARE READING THIS…. CONSIDER SENDING DELIVERY ORDERS OUT WITH ALL SAUCE ON THE SIDE!
Steamy, hot, oily food + sealed container + gallons of hot sauce = complete mess by the time the food reaches the customer. Quite literally, an inedible mess.
I promise that these pictures do not do the food justice as to how gummy the exterior coating was. To boot, with spicy sauces (I ordered a facemelt sauce) lighter coatings usually go a long way. These were saturated and were a bit much to handle when if presented differently would have been much more enjoyable.
This isn’t something that should have to be explained, hence me giving this experience a one out of five. Bonus star for the flavor of the maple garlic sauce I had on the side.
I’m sure the food is decent, just seriously work on execution and packaging.
First of all I am easy going and I do not complain about much. I heard about wicked wings on the radio so I decided to try it out.
I ordered 24 wings for myself and 2 others. We were working a few blocks down the street. We only take a 30 minute lunch break so I ordered ahead.
We got there and the food was bagged up. I paid $42 and left a $6 tip. I then asked if they minded if we sat down to eat. The bartender/host said okay. There was 4 other people eating there at the bar.
We sat down and opened the bag. Someone came from outback (possibly the manager or owner). He tells us that we can not eat there. I said we would be quick. He tells us that we already used up his 2 go containers and bag. I politely offered him $5 for the inconvenience. He thens disrespects us and says no "No, this isn't a campground.". He treated us like we were bums.
Was kicking us out really worth a bad review? I have never had such poor service.
We left and sat in the truck to eat the wings. Very Disappointed.
Underrated wings & drinks, this place killed it when I was there celebrating my brothers graduation, it was so good we went twice in the same weekend. Amazing wings you have full control over and they are baller every time. The drinks were proper and reasonable and though the price was above some other places I had 2 days worth of left overs so it was definitely worth it! More people should come here, it's a good vibe and the outdoor seating that is covered and in the shade is a plus.
