Best WLM Reviews
I came here after a long day of travel and my goodness was it good. Seated right away and a delicious drink. The shrimp and grits hit the spot. Will come back. The lady that took care of me was absolutely a joy to talk to as well!
I ate here on my Birthday. I had the Wicked Fingers. It was delicious. The atmosphere and service was great. I came on a Sunday for brunch. It was not crowded. I plan to come back soon.
Delicious. We were actually trying to go to a different restaurant but realized we went to the wrong place but decided to give it a try. Did not disappoint. The meals were great, and they allowed us to substitute the sides. We had the salmon, another fish, and pork chop. Large portions and fresh.
I will say the black eyed peas were not good, and I'm not sure if it was an us problem or restaurant quality issue. Either way it does not negatively affect my views and appreciation for this place. We will be back again.
We loved this place. The food was good. The servers were nice. The restaurant has fine dining and the dining room is spacious. We will definitely be back! Fried green tomatoes are the BEST I ever had. Drinks are expensive ????
I have been wanting to try Wicked Hen for over a year, but after reading the recent reviews, I was a little hesitant. After a lot of back and forth, I decided to try brunch anyway, and I'm happy I did. Contrary to recent reviews, the portions were large (my boyfriend had the pecan crusted chicken and sweet potato waffle, and he was served TWO breasts with his waffle and fruit, and, even as a big eater, he barely finished it.) I tried it, too, and the flavor was amazing! I ordered the fried green tomato BLT, and it was delicious! We also decided to give the duck egg rolls a try, and they didn't disappoint. The combination of bitter turnip greens, duck, the crispy egg roll covering, and the sweet fruity chutney was so amazing! Whatever was going on with this place has resolved, because I will definitely be returning! (Oh, and the bloody Marys and mimosas are pretty darn good, too!)
I have been here several times. I'm starting to notice the food has changed. Months ago when I went a couple times the food was delicious. Three weeks ago the food was okay. The first time I got the pesto pasta it was creamy and good, the last time I got it, it was on the oily side. Same thing with the pecan chicken with sweet potato waffles. It was so good but now not so much. The chicken is no longer season and was a little too soft. The serving size has also gotten smaller but that's understandable due to food prices. Photos will show the difference. The hamburger was the last thing I tried and wasn't season at all and missing stuff that was listed on the menu. Will not try that again. Family member said the tomato sandwich was okay. Those sweet potato fries were good with the sauce just wasn't hot. So I'm guessing they switch chef. I can see this causing issues for returning customers.
Madisyn is on point! Nice brunch with baby. Great food and service ????
I had the chicken marsala with an old fashion and my wife had the pecan encrusted chicken with a wicked punch, both were fantastic. Our server Olivia did it all and was amazing. Would recommend.
