As you walk into Wicked Good Pizza in Startzville, the first thing you’ll notice is the abundance of seating—perfect for family dinners or group meetups. Upon entry, I was immediately greeted by a friendly staff member at the counter, setting the tone for a welcoming experience.
I went with their Wicked Special: an X-large two-topping pizza, a small order of wings, and a gallon of tea. The entire order took just under 20 minutes to prepare, which is impressive for fresh, made-to-order pizza.
When I grabbed the pizza box, the warm aroma hit me instantly. And once we took our first bite, it did not disappoint. The flavor was outstanding, with the right amount of crunch and chew, topped with a perfect cheese pull that rivals what you’d expect from top-tier pizzerias in New York or Chicago.
In speaking with the owners, I learned that Wicked Good Pizza makes their dough fresh in-house. They don’t cut corners with pre-made crusts—they make everything from scratch at each location. That level of dedication to quality shows in every bite.
If you're anywhere near Canyon Lake and craving a slice, Wicked Good Pizza is my top recommendation. With outstanding food and exceptional service, this place is a must-visit.
We had take out this evening I thought we would give this pizza joint a try. I had ordered cheese rolls and meat lovers with olives mushrooms and jalapeños the mushrooms were not added on but still charged. Pizza was pretty soft as though it was not cooked all the way. Pretty pricy for a large pizza and some cheese rolls.
Great local pizza … not Jersey pizza but much better than the big boy chain pizzas worth a try
I had my reservations about Wicked Good Pizza because of a few negative reviews, but I’m so glad we decided to try it for ourselves! We ordered a pizza for pick up on a Monday night & it was ready in about 20 minutes.
The crust was fresh w/fluffy edge & crispy bottom & the ingredients were very fresh too. We ordered an extra large 1/2 feta & spinach & 1/2 mushroom & jalapeño.
Added bonus is that your order is saved so the next couple of times we ordered all we had to say is use our previous order! ????

This is the best garlic cheese bead I ever had and the people are really nice,sweet,and really nice space and good pizza and ice cream.
I ordered curly fries, got home, and had very regular fat and not curly fries instead. After calling the establishment, I'm told that their curly fries shipment came in straight, and they hadn't thought to say anything because they should taste the same.
The same, they did not taste. They taste like disappointment, and food I wouldn't have ordered if I'd been properly informed when I was placing my order, or even even I picked up. I'll be making the drive out to the older location next time.
Stopped in for lunch with a group I ride with. Had the club sandwich, and I was not disappointed. All the ingredients tasted fresh, it wasn't overloaded with veggies, and the sandwich stayed in one piece as I ate it. Nice little place for some grub. Will definitely be back.
Let's put it this way, its the best pizza in Canyon Lake. The large pizza only measures in at a measly 14". With that, you are still going to pay $50 for 2 large pies, with three toppings between them, and a 10 piece order of wings. The food is enjoyable, and the staff are pleasant. Not to mention some pretty fantastic Pokémon quarter machines, and cooler full of ice cream for the kiddos.
