Went there for a late lunch and found Happy Hour had just started. Plenty of drink and food options for $4 and $5. Hubby had the Smashed burger and zucchini fries plus a beer ($5 each) and I ordered the Outlaw burger and tots plus a cider off the regular menu. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back!
If you’re looking for delicious comfort food and great service in Upland, then this is your spot. If you’re a picky eater or have a certain diet to follow, they will prepare a custom dish for you as well. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes from their menu, as they’re always changing it up for you. Beer lovers, this will be your new favorite pub! As far as what I recommend, start with their famous pork Belly Deviled Eggs, and their Purist Burger for something more simple, or Pastrami Burger for something more filling. Their Hawaiian Fries are to die for and if you have room for dessert, order the Elvis Bread Pudding!
My husband and I arrived in time for happy hour. We ordered the fried pickels that came with two sauces a chipotle and a ranch type sauce. We also ordered The Boy Blue Burger which was delicious, and the portions were big; so, only finished half. My husband had the Outlaw burger, he gave it a 7 out of 10. We both agreed the service was great, our server was attentive, friendly, and very responsive. I would return for another Boy Blue Burger and maybe give the Numb Cucumber or the cocktail menu a try.
Terrible service! The male server took our drink order, then chatted (personal talk) with customers, who he must’ve known at another table for over 5 minutes, then brings us our drinks (soda and a water), and then took our food order. I believe we were the only people sitting at a table during the time we were there and our order took at least 20 minutes to get. Another server told us they had a large to go order so our order would be up soon. He dropped off the food and we never saw him again. My husband ordered his burger well done, and it was rare, and my husband had to go to the bar for a refill on his drink. I had the pistachio, crusted salmon which was excellent. When the server finally came back to our table, he noticed my husband only ate half the burger and he told him he would’ve sent it back but he never checked on us after delivering our food. He explained that our table was out of sight in the corner, so I guess obviously forgot about us even though we were his only table! Then I tried to use a discount QR Code I received when I checked out the menu online and he tried telling me I had to wait until my next visit. What? There would be no next visit to this place! So I went up to the register with him to talk to his manager and she didn’t have a problem with giving me the discount.
The Wicked Cow is s great place for burgers and other delicious dishes. Beer variety is extensive and not very expensive. Staff is friendly and attentive. Parking is very accessible and free, outdoor seating is available also. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because the beer is tasty but not very cold, and that is only my personal preference. ????
Absolutely delicious! Food is prepared per order, arrives hot and fresh at your table. Place isn't too big. Went with my friend for a girls night out and had a nice time on a random Tuesday. Staff was friendly. There's a jukebox. Seems like lots of regulars. Draft was cold, great selection. Menunisnt overboard. I got the blue cheese burger and my bff got the mushroom burger. We split the brussel sprouts - highly recommend! Restrooms, there were 2 unisex. Clean and had needed supplies. Overall great and will return.
So deliciously awesome burgers and tots. Hubby and I have been several times now and loved it every time.
We are NOT sports people, so the tvs aren’t a draw for us. But they don’t deter from conversation.
I stumbled upon this place while driving around looking for something new to eat. I read the reviews for the Wicked Cow and they were all amazing. So it was shocking to me that this place we empty mid after noon. Though I took into account that it is a bar too so maybe it's popular at night? But nevertheless I had a wonderful experience at this establishment! The food was amazing and the portions are quite large so prepare for a feast! I wish I took pictures of what I ordered but I don't think it would have done it justice anyway! I rarely give reviews out but I think this place needs a bit more traction, so I hope that you visit and enjoy the food as much as I did!
