Best WLM Reviews

This was an unexpected treat we found while roadtripping through Vermont. Definitely some of the best brisket I've had in the Northeast and easily compares to Southern BBQ stops I've tried. The beer selection was fantastic. The cornbread with maple butter served in a small individual skillet was a nice touch but a little dry. Definitely worth the stop if you are in the area.
Great tasting BBQ. Rubs were fall apart and the beans were really good. Brisket was dry but still had great flavor. Let me tell you though...the reason you absolutely must come to this place is the corn bread with maple butter! It's the best I've ever had!
Great family place, friendly staff and attentive. Food was served fast and delicious. Fist time in the area passing through.
My fiance and I decided to stop here for lunch. First the 2 guys that was working there were very nice and it didn't take long to get seated and get menus. We got our drinks quickly and ordered our food. Food came out pretty quickly but our beans were missing. We told the server who quickly went and got them. Sadly they weren't to my liking. Maybe just not my preference. We ordered pulled chicken with ribs and the pulled pork with the brisket. The pulled pork and brisket were probably the best. The chicken was dry and the ribs weren't cooked enough. The brisket just fell apart. It was a small place but nice atmosphere.
Traveling and stopped for BBQ. Good food, good, service, good beer on tap, family run. Stop by and get your BBQ on and support local business. Outdoor and indoor seating.
WA BBQ was a delicious visit today. I stopped by for lunch, and I’m glad I did! Classic BBQ set up w the smoker(s?) outside under tents. Might have been ten? four tops and a short bar.
I ordered the brisket and ribs combo and a cup of chowda. The soup was good, very creamy - and served hot. Not so full of clams as the menu promised, so probably not worth the price. Just had to try.
Combos come w salad. I was here for meat, so the salad seemed an afterthought. But, it was VERY good. Fresh, crunchy, and served, in my case, w some excellent blue cheese dressing. But, like I said, I was here for the meat!
The brisket was the king here. 8 oz serving was probably overweight. Tender, juicy, beefy and smoky. The pink ring stood out like it was painted on. I could have eaten more, only if I had stretch waist pants on!
The 1/3 rack of ribs were OK, but paled compared to the beef. Tender pork just didn’t have the smoke flavor I was wanting. But, I ate it all and would have eaten more.
The meal came with a heavenly corn cake cooked in the world’s smallest cast iron “pan”. I thought it was a fun gimmick. But, it was light and fluffy like a pillow made from angel’s wings. Really amazing.
My waitress encouraged me to get the excellent potato salad for my side. I think it isn’t always on the menu. My lucky day.
They had a nice selection of beers at the bar. I was returning to work. So I had iced tea. Good brew!
Little local joint with some pretty good eats. Pulled pork was listed and sauce over it was good. Brisket was good, couple of the pieces were on the dry side, 3 were nice n moist. Ribs good flavor, have a bite, not my favorite. Cornbread was really good, served in its own micro-sized lodge cast iron skillet! Had 6 beers in draft. Loved the "re-modeled" tree art outside. Staff was friendly and attentive.
I really enjoyed the several different times I've been here. It's very convenient off 91 passing through WRJ... The food is really great and the blackberry heat wings are a must have! I've eaten their sandwiches and brisket plates and plenty of sides to tell you this place is legit. They care about the food and the customers. It is a smaller sit down inside so if you're wanting to sit be prepared to possibly wait a bit.... I've been there at open hours and 4 groups walked in with me! ???? Great business!
