Like a kid in a candy store, I love Whole Foods. I stopped here on my way to my hotel to stock up on foods I can eat during my trip with my dietary restrictions. It was relatively late when I landed so I grabbed a grab and go microwave dinner for that night along with snacks and breakfast items. The store was very clean, layout was easy to navigate and staff were very friendly.
It's Whole Foods, and you're going to get exactly what you expect. High prices, tons of specialty products, and a great bakery. (While nice, the prices is the reason I almost never shop here). Still, on the scale of Whole Foods locations, this is a good Whole Foods. Nicer than the one on Bishop's Corner, though not as good as some of the newer locations.
Love Whole Foods BUT their attention to detail specifically with their schedule for their coffee station is not acceptable especially since a lot of customers drive over 20 mins to come to the store since there are not too many around. Their website states that they are open from 8:30-4 Monday-Sunday.
I shop at the Raymond Rd location at least three times a week.
I'm very happy with the prices and Prime savings.
However, the 365 candles are awful. They burn straight down, instead of evenly across. During the most recent candle sale, I bought three of the Spiced Balsam. They are not very fragrant, and the way they burn is beyond annoying.
Your store gets five stars. The candles? One star.
Review is of their sushi. It served it's purpose and that was to satiate my hunger. Rice was dry and the rolls were flavorless. I had the spicy salmon avocado and the Pacific combo. Obviously there is better sush around...but if you need a quick bite, why not.
I took a two day trip to West Hartford, CT; to visit a 97yr. old dear friend of mine, Ms. Doris Artist. I stopped at Whole Foods because I've always loved their selection and the array of products that are always on shelf and well stocked. I brought some pastries, vitamins, some of that gorgeous smelling soap, a body cleanse or as some may say, "A Rejuvenation." Either way, "New Life," has a product to help get those toxins and radicals out of your body that keeps you feeling weighed down. My purpose of going in was to get either a Spinach or Carrot juice but looking around, I was so impressed and forgot my main purpose. Oh, well it happens to the best of us!! Always stop in this store when you're in West Hartford visiting. Why? Because you will always find something you need or desire! "Whole Foods Market," is the representation of what a market should always look like, - "Clean, Well stocked in Produce, Vegetables, Bread, Desserts,- must I go on?.....
I love this store anywhere it's located and I'm sure you will too.

Whole Foods market on Raymond Road delivers a customer experience that is beyond reproach. Doug and Casandra (the team leader and atl respectively) in the front end ensure customers are comfortable, and all needs are met. From Mario in the meat department, to the team members at fish counter , and over to the prep foods and specialty teams, Whole Foods market Raymond road gives customers everything they need and more.
I always have a great experience when I’m in this store. The staff are friendly and go above and beyond for the customers. Today, I purchased a coffee and tea and the barista was sweet, efficient, and made the drinks well. I went to the bakery section to purchase frozen cookies, however, the freezer was no longer there, so I asked one of the staff behind the counter (Ivaliz). She was incredible and made me a package of the cookies to go. I appreciated it so much as I recently had a baby and those cookies have been a great late night snack to get some additional calories in. One of the gentlemen behind the poultry counter last week was great too. I enjoy every trip and can’t say enough about the wonderful staff.
