That food was so nasty. The mac had cheese in it. You could see the cheese sitting on the Mac. Yams was orange no flavor . Meatloaf and chicken was as if they didn’t season nothing . I had to add my own just to not waste my money . Peach/lemonade mix was to sweet for me but my 8 year old liked it. Was just a no all across the board …. Oh and the banana pudding taste like it came from a box .. which they said but it’s was no love out in it just banana mix
This is my go-to spot for soul food in Stone Mountain. I usually order the chicken wing plate with collard greens and yams. The food could be hotter but it is made with love and is good everytime I order whether it is dine in, take out, or DoorDash. I love supporting this Black owned business and will continue to do so and try the other locations.
They have a nice location, they have nice employees, they need better cooks, a new recipe or something. This AINT IT. I’ve never had meatloaf that taste like sloppy Joe. And it’s brick firm it’s REALLY WEIRD & confusing. To be a soul food place & lack spices, seasonings, flavor is DIABOLICAL. Don’t be get wrong it’s not terrible but I would visit again.
I tried the their food for the first time and it was great! They did not disappoint. Everything was full of flavor, seasoned well, and packaged all in front you. Unfortunately, I did notice the food seemed to be sitting there for some times based off the dried sauce on multiple dishes. However I did take note on the steamed pans or basically heated bottom the were using, So at least my food was hot when I received it. Highly Recommended!
It was good. The cashier got one of the orders wrong, but corrected it quickly. They were very polite. Food was very tasty.
The food was mid at the Decatur location. Service was great, but the oxtail definitely tasted like they were boiled in plain water. I’ve had better, but that’s just my opinion. Here’s a pic of what’s left. I’m done, prolly won’t be back. Two plates were almost $60.
Food was horrible i mean just horrible. Chicken had NO seasoning food was just bland as it could be very disappointed I spent a nice penny
They tried!!! I wasn't familiar with this restaurant. While driving home from Avondale I was tempted by the name "Who's Got Soul ... However, after dining here I urge this restaurant to listen to its reviewers; the lack of flavoring and abundance of salt as a seasoning is teetering on a LITERAL question. First thing first, myself and others were cheerfully and energetically greeted by a smiling cashier. LOVED IT. The restaurant was clean and looks like it is very well organized and run. LOVED IT. But, where things start to go to the left is when numbers are being called for orders but no receipts were given. No problem, just a detail. I ordered the 3pc whiting, mac and cheese, zucchini and hush puppies (total $19.25). To my dismay, they did not have tarter sauce (very easy to make). But, not a deal breaker. Secondly, on my 25 min. drive home I realized they didn't put my hush puppies in my bag. Again, I'll survive. Thirdly, my whiting was BLAND BLAND BLAND. My mac and cheese was overly salty and my zucchini was mushy!!! And there was a hint of vinegar or something. No idea. I really wanted to like my food. But, it leaves me wondering "Who's Got Soul ...? This restaurant? Well, that answer will be different for each of us and our tastebuds. But, for me ... I was hoping for something different and slightly better. Personally, they fell slightly short. They tried ... 3 stars given for a WONDERFUL greeting, CLEAN restaurant, food area and a hardworking staff.
