Best WLM Reviews

This place has been in my visit list since 1989. Back then it was an older building. Glad I waited because this new facility is very nice. Great atmosphere and a great patio area. No waiting for an inside seat because most want to be on the patio. We had a great seat. The menu provided a lot of choices. Appetizer portions were huge! Too much for us. The burgers were also very large, just manageable with all of the toppings.
This is a cash or check only establishment. Fortunately I was prepared. Highly recommended, plenty of space between tables too. Come and enjoy.
Busy night as it was volleyball night.
Sat quickly, food out fast. Cheap drinks and good eats! Coliseum fries and the burger of the month which was the Saloon burger. Had jalapeno bacon, onion petals, bbq & cheese sauce on a pretzel bun.
Food was damn good and our waitress was awesome.
The server was stellar. The burger was not as I had hoped. It's been a long time since I was there. The food then was amazing. The food last night was disappointing. It was very loud in the dining area. Which of course was to be expected. The best thing from the experience was the young lady who was our server.. she was nothing short of stellar
We are from Milwaukee and were recommended this place online. They're known for their chili so we tried the coliseum fries which has the chili on top, the meat was delicious and the melted cheese added a great flavor. We split a burger which was cooked perfectly and so juicy. They also have great daily specials. Cash only.
Our server was very kind and attentive. The food came out hot and fresh and tasted delicious. Portions were regular, no leftovers. The food came out as it was done, so no waiting around on trays off food for the whole tables meals to be ready. Remember that it's cash only when you go.
BRING CASH (or check)!!! Whitey's Burgers and Booze is well known for NOT taking credit cards. There is an ATM on site.
But do NOT let that stop you from coming. Just be prepared!
Whiteys has been here for seventy years! Which is a tremendous testimony.
The food was very good comfort food! And the prices were fantastic! Burgers and sandwiches were around $11 to $14. Seems like every restaurant believes they make a burger that is worth $20. The three of us had a total bill of $50 and that was with two drinks!!!!
My son had a burger and I ordered the foot long chili dog. They are well known for their chili... and for good reason! I also had a long island iced tea that I can tell them did not skimp on!
I have been here several times before and have enjoyed my meal every time.
Add Whiteys to your plans, just don't forget to bring cash!
I thought this place was just ok. I forgot I was here years ago after a Blossom concert. Based on the reviews and photos I was expecting a great burger, but I forgot they don’t cook burgers to order. All burgers are cooked well done even if you request medium rare. If you like well done burgers then I recommend. Fries ($5) are separate and not included with the price of the burger ($11-$15) but enough to share. Establishment is also cash or check only. No credit cards.
So don’t hate me, but I’ll be honest. The food seemed to be lacking character overall. The burger of the month was a Philly fanatic that tasted nothing like a cheesesteak, only and under seasoned burger. Which is fine, but I expected more flavor. We hit the street corn dip and surprisingly, it also lacked any real flavor to recall on. Very bland. I figured going with the chili flight would be the best route to go. They were all very unimpressive. Honestly I hate to give a place less than five stars but the food was just so forgetful. The service was great and they are under construction but the place looked fun. I am not sure I will be back to see it finished though.
