I had my baby here and it was a great experience. Every nurse I had was perfect and nice surprisingly. When I went into labor, an entire team came in and it’s like everyone was in sync and knew exactly what their job was. Everyone was smiling and worked so perfect together. Their food was good and didn’t taste like hospital food at all. All of the nurses made sure my baby had lots of blankets, bottles, diapers, I mean everything! The view was nice. The rooms were super clean, they even make sure you are super clean lol. The only thing I have to complain about are the beds are horrible, hard, and flat which is so uncomfortable especially after having a baby like come on now. And the other thing was the lady that was doing my epidural had to be someone new. She stuck me in my back at least 10 times to the point I was literally screaming at her to stop touching me. She went and got a male doctor and he got it on one try. They had to heavily sedate me because of what the lady did put me in so much pain that I never experienced in my life. I wish I would have stopped her after 2 tries. This was May 16 2023 when my daughter Kassidy was born that morning and to this day I’m experiencing back pain. They should be trained to know when enough is enough and to go get help. Other than that it’s a good hospital to have your baby.
The peak of absolute incompetence! Apparently, all black kids look alike, since a black woman there with her ELEMENTARY age child left, had gotten confused with my 17 year old 6 for tall daughter and almost got skipped over when her name was called. Then the admitting nurse couldn't understand how a car can get pushed into another in a multi car accident. To finally the doctor saying the cause for headaches and dizziness after head trauma in an accident is due to lack of hydration (the reason he was pushing this so hard was because their CT scan was down, and he didn't know we knew this). I'll NEVER go back. . .neither should anyone else
Came here just now because I’m having bleeding and took tests before bleeding that said positive. They immediately said they don’t have no obgyn services, wouldn’t that be considered an emergency. Like what hospital can’t tell you whats wrong with you if you’re possibly pregnant. She told me I can sign in but they don’t have ob services so in my head I’m like what’s the point of signing in. Bleeding would indicate an emergency . It was very unhelpful at check in . This is a hospital to tell someone y’all don’t have services and can’t help with certain things is crazy . But I’ll just wait on my appointment with a pregnancy clinic. What if I’m hemorrhaging or miscarrying. But if everything is all good with my baby. White Rock would be the last hospital on earth I would return to because that was a waste of my time and gas to say basically say if I’m pregnant y’all can’t do shit
I went to pick up someone and went in the wrong door, but the lady that received me explained where I needed to go. So I followed her directions and put me in the right location.
Then I went up the floor and was greeted by a nurse who directed me to the exact room. When I arrived, the attending nurse said they were expecting me and were getting the patient ready for me to pick up. They directed me to a waiting area where there were vending machines that had tap on it (that's important in my book ???? because I don't carry cash) and comfortable chairs.
3 other staff members passed me and all said hi and one even recognized me (or I recognized him) and made small-talk with me. The restrooms were clean and don't have odors. They seem to have great customer service.
I would not go back here if it was the last place on earth to get care. From the moment I walked in the lady at the front desk was rolling her eyes and had an attitude. The rooms were nasty had dried yellow substance on the floor looks to be urine. A nurse used one of the triage rooms to sit her family members in while she went in and was just gossiping away.The doctor came in and asked me what’s the reason for the visit and literally walked out while I was talking to him! Completely walked out the room, the double doors to the hospital and I didn’t see him anymore after that . They told me nothing was wrong with me, took my IV out blood started gushing and oozing everywhere and the nurse blamed me for it. I left and went to Baylor and had to be admitted because I was indeed having a medical emergency. I do not recommend this hospital at all
My daughter went for an emergency procedure in February. They told us we had a 600.00 copay. It wasn’t a big deal because I knew we met our out of pocket but claims were still pending. So after all claims post I called to get a refund per the rep our insurance paid and there was no patient responsibly and we will receive a refund. Fast forward it’s December we have called and sent emails and no response. This was a horrible experience if you have other please use them
Everyone was nice however they kept giving me a prescription that was on back order. I have to come back 3 separate days after they said they would send it electronically and did not. They are not efficient and they make several mistakes and everyday I went it was different staff so it’s a company wide problem not just 1 shift. I won’t be coming back.
Today I was in the ER n my person who took care of me was Tim this guy was great came in not only sick but also stressed and sad they need to have more of him ,no sugar coating but made sure I was safe to go . That’s a great n crazy man but I’ll take him everytime . Tim half of me say thanks sir, my other say u did that Bruh the people need to keep u forever again thanks ….
