Not bad of a place to stay if you are on a budget it’s not a 5 star hotel but i would definitely be back as the rooms are cozy and clean, showers have a good pressure which is a plus, good location for many near restaurants and place is very well lit. Definitely recommend this place for those who just need a place to stay!
Definitely not the best, obviously that isn’t what you’re paying for. Was thinking they might at least have some coffee in the morning, but no dice there. And there was a bug in the shower. But it was a place to lay my head, so if you’re on a budget you could do worse, but probably could do better too.
We did get a "smoking" room but the smell was not cigarettes the smell was far more than that and thats just the beginning, there were burn hold in the blankets, stuff splattered on the walls, a huge crack in the ceiling that was obviously leaking and the floor underneath was weak about to fall through, the door wouldn't close all the way and there was writing on the walls and door! We asked for a better room or a refund and they refused. We left and went to a hotel up the road that cost the same amount of money and it was immaculate! White rock needs to be shut down it's absolutely disgusting and humans should not be inside of that building for health reasons. I'm pretty sure we would have been murdered had we stayed there.
All these old reviews make this place sound awful. It’s not the staff I spoke to was helpful and nice. Although they came off like just getting to the point. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. No insects anywhere inside some wall damage here and there as-well as a chair being broken. The room auto locks so it’s really secure. We had 2 beds when we booked same day and for 2 people for 2 nights it was $162 which isn’t that bad. It is right off the highway so it’s a little loud but it’s located in a good spot for food and activities. We had free wifi that worked great and the ac worked amazing. Overall for the price you get here and for what it is it is so worth it if you’re young and on a budget.
The worst hotel ever, the restroom was like if we were in hell ( it was super hot) the water wasn’t cold, the AC didn’t work and we complained and ask if we can switch rooms but they said *it was full* but in reality there was barely people in that hotel, the worst hotel ever
Great, clean place for the price. The beds were comfortable, great shower pressure, everything was a lil dated but they did the most with what they had.
My ladies & I spent a few days here. We had plenty of privacy, and the location to the river was great. There was a slight problem with the staff and thier comprehension of the English language but other than that the place is played back .
This place we did not expect too much, BUT, the room was absolutely not clean. I killed at least 6 spiders throughout my stay. No coffee maker in room as listed. Pool looked fantastic, but was not available to use. There were zero sodas of any flavor in soda machine so we had to make impromptu trip to gas station. The walls were absolutely gross, Im pretty sure that was blood stains on bathroom walls. The lamp shades were either molded or had been in a fire previously. Bathtub did not stop, could not fill for a bath. Air conditioning unit looked as if it had never been cleaned before. All in all, you could not pay me to stay here again and I plan on contacting the manager to get my money back for this stay but the lady in the office at check out spoke very little english. Horrible stay. Save your money.
