Best WLM Reviews
This place has changed and it's for the better. Hand breaded fish and chicken. Pasta was prepared well. Shrimp was not overcooked. Salad was fresh, blue cheese was ranch with blue cheese added...still good but not blue cheese. Very nice views of water from most tables. Definitely a nice place to grab something while shopping at the landing. Service was excellent.
A great time on the White River was had by all at the Fish House. My party of four highly recommend a visit to this pleasant restaurant. We dined outside and had a delightful view of fishermen and ducks. Our server, McKinley was super sweet and efficient. The restaurant offered a wide variety of food options. Guests are sure to find something tempting on the menu.
Our server was very sweet and was great with our children. We had to wait quite a bit for drink refills and then for our checks at the end, which any parents with children know is a bit frustrating.
Everything our table ordered was very bland. No seasoning to be found on anything. The chicken was very tough and overcooked. The fries were limp. The fish and chips were greasy. It was all okay, but we wouldn’t come again.
Our toddler did love looking at the ducks on the water after.
The food and service were great! Loved the atmosphere. We'll definitely be back before we head home.
Everything was so good! The service was great! The decor and atmosphere was so nice and being to look at the river just added the experience.
Such an amazing experience, reminiscent of a New England coastal fish house. We had Ozark Trout, Canadian Walleye, and smoked salmon dip, which were all five stars. But the dish that will be forever emblazoned in our memory was the clam chowder - Top shelf! Shout out to Cole, one of the most attentive and professional waiters we've ever had.
My hubs ordered their signature fish dish. The fish was tough as leather. I traded my husband plates because I ordered the Mahi Mahi tacos, and I could see that he wasn't happy with his food. I couldn't hardly cut the fish with my fork. The waitress (Krysten) was very nice and took the plate to replace the fish right away. The problem was that by the time my food came back, the rest of the table was finished eating. My son had the fish and chips, it looked and tasted delicious. The salsa served with the tacos was bland. The atmosphere was gorgeous, and a great experience being on the water for my children. They charged us for 2 "cokes" and I only had water. I didn't notice until we got home. My hubs said we will never go back. I would give them a second chance.
The atmosphere and decor were wonderful, the waitress nice but THATS IT! Everything else was terrible. First, the amount of time it took the waitress to get to us and come back to us was frustrating; I'd understand if it was busy, it was not!! Second, we had to wait for the waitress to finally come back around so we could tell her she forgot items from our order, and it took forever for those things to get to us and one of those items was just a side of ranch. THIRD, the food...... it was simply terrible! I grow up eating fish, I've eaten fish all over the country, heck I was in the military and ate that food no problem, but this fish I couldn't stomach to finish; it was soggy, had no spice and tasted old or dirty or something. My kids wouldn't eat it either and they love fish too. We don't do fancy!! I mean we eat Vienna sausage sandwiches and Sardines, but I couldn't stomach this. I have never once in my life left a restaurant without finishing my food unless I'm stuffed and we take the leftovers, this place we left it! Lastly, the price! I'll just say, it wasn't worth half the price!!! It took 20 minutes to park and that was a better experience and it didn't leave me feeling nauseous. Unfortunately this place did!!
