Best WLM Reviews

Let's start with the service, Kayla was absolutely amazing!
Next the cheese vail burger was delicious highly recommend.
The pizza is AMAZING.
Will be returning.
Best ever gluten-free crust ever on the Martha's Prison Pizza. Over 20 beers on tap, in the small 2 story house behind Brewers Alley, and then behind the parking garage. Well worth going down the rabbit hole to find. Excellent value and amazing experience from staff. Cream of crab soup was heavy on Ols Bay. thick sauce with ample crab meat.
We came here for my birthday and it was great! The pub is located right next to the parking garage so it was fairly convenient. It was fairly busy on Sunday early afternoon. We had to wait about 30 min to be seated because there were several large groups. The food was delicious and the servers were outgoing. We got a couple Smash Burgers and a Baja Surf and Turf pizza. I've never had a Detroit styled pizza before but they're thick, almost like a small lasagna. For dessert, we got the Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake and they even put a little candle on it. Would definitely go again!
Probably my favorite spot in Frederick so far. Fantastic food, creative cocktails and friendly service. Perfect combo.
You have to try their famous deep dish Detroit-style pizza here, specifically the The Veronica Vaughn (cupping pepperonis | housemade red sauce | ricotta cheese | mikes hot honey | oregano | basil | parmesan). It's just epic. The sauce and crust are amazing on their own, and the additional touches with the hot honey and basil just sets this one off.
Their Smash Burger (2 smash patties | grilled onions | animal sauce | pickles | american cheese | toasted martin's potato roll) is excellent as well, just a well made smash burger with a delicious potato bun.
The Crab Poutine (fries | house cheese blend | lump crab meat bechamel | old bay) is pretty otherworldly too. I can't believe no one else has thought of this combo!
Also tried the cheese steak empanadas, I'd pass on this one, nothing to write home about. The only dud we tried.
As for cocktails, I enjoyed the Red Devil (Campari | brown sugar simple syrup | ginger ale | star anise | cinnamon stick garnish) and the The Gentleman (Basil Hayden dark rye | Carpano Antica sweet vermouth | thyme infused Cynar | cherry garnish). I'd stay away from the Raven, the brine taste was overwhelming.
Got into town today and our niece wanted to take us here. My niece and I both got smash burgers and oh my were they delicious. Their Mac and cheese is the bomb. My wife had the crab soup and it was very tasty as well. Good selection of beers and my wife really enjoyed her forager gimlet with a local gin.
Love the location, tucked back in downtown Frederick. Food was great, good portions. Two levels, has an upstairs bar. Had the Ricky Ricardo cuban sandwich. Will go again for the deep dish!
The food is fantastic, the atmosphere upon entering let's you know that you are in for a good time. Look over the paintings in the stairwell, definitely request to sit upstairs. The menu is creative as are the drinks. All in all, I would gladly return.
Highly recommended by friends that live in the area. Did not disappoint. Food, service and location was fantastic. The pizzas are the draw but the rest of the menu are also great
