I’d give it 4.5 if I could. I’m rating the course based on the relatively low cost and therefore against other comparable courses (tempered expectations).
Not overly challenging but had a few fun holes. For the most part the fairways and greens were in great shape. Some of the bunkers were like hitting off of cement and cart paths were a bit confusing but manageable.
I’d definitely visit again for the price.
White Pines recently held a lunch for my father who has passed away. They went above and beyond for the event, were amazing to work with, and were extremely professional and kind. We could not have asked for a better lunch / event. The space itself was beautiful and they helped decorate and set up for the event. We are so thankful for the staff and everyone at White Pines who helped make everything possible.
Played there 9-7-24 for the Sargent & Lundy golf outing. Staff was very accommodating. We had over 100 4-somes on the course so pace of play was brutally slow but that was all on us. It was a fun course. Decent shape in the fairways. Can't complain about the greens. I agree with others that the cart paths have quite a few potholes. I didn't pay so not sure what the rate is but from reading everyone else's reviews that's a really reasonable rate for the course.
Played the west course on 8-19-‘24. Course was in good condition but the cart paths were rough. You should enjoy playing there.
I have played at White Pines for many years. It is a challenging but a fair course.
I am also impressed by the way they keep groups moving. We have never been delayed plus it’s a great value. Believe me, try it and you won’t be disappointed.
Also the pro shop staff is very professional and also try the grilled chicken wrap. It is great!
Good course. Needs some help with bunkers and a few other areas but all and all a good course to play. Still think $10 a person is steep for a cart but there are others that charge $20 or more.
What a nice golf course! The tee boxes, fairways and greens were in nice condition. The only negative is the gas carts and cart paths.
Great price! Easy to book, plenty of carts available, great staff, better food than most courses, awesome playing conditions, huge parking lot, smaller range but nice practice greens. East is a little shorter with more hazards so it's really fun when your short game is on. West is longer and more open but still requires some accuracy. I love both courses! Best courses for the price anywhere around here!
