Expectations lost!! My husband and I ordered surf and turf. Steaks ordered medium rare were burnt in the sides and raw in the middle. Lobster I couldn't cut out of the shell so I sent it back to the kitchen. Crab legs were stringed out. Martinis were under shaken and not cold. Waitress was very pleasant though! She credited the lobster but honestly 200$ for crap food...?I will never go back.
Denise was very helpful with all of the menu options and drinks. The New York Strip, Asparagus & Twice baked potato was so good make you wanna slap yo mama. Don't forget the Cheesecake because its finger lickin good.
Went to White Mountain Mining for brunch because we were told it was better than the dinner and we wanted to try it. It was our anniversary and we really wanted this to be good but unfortunately we will not be returning. I ordered the white mountain Benedict. A normal (cold) eggs Benedict is what came out. After I took a bite and realized it was ham, not prime rib, I asked the waitress about it and she said that she thought I ordered a normal eggs Benedict. She said that they could either make me what I ordered or I could get a 10% discount. I asked if they could just take the eggs Benedict off of the bill because I had not eaten it and it wasn’t what I ordered. At that point we had also been there for a very long time waiting for our meal so I didn’t want to wait for them to remake it. She told me they were only able to give me a 10% discount even though it was their mistake. All I had eaten was the side of potatoes because it was not what I ordered. If you do go, I would not order any of the eggs Benedict. The egg yolk was cooked all the way through and both of our meals meals were cold. It was also drenched with hollandaise sauce (way more than usual) . I would also make sure the server writes down or confirms your order again because it was a really disappointing experience and I wouldn’t want it to happen to anyone else.
It was hit and miss. We were seated right away. Our waitress Reese was very friendly, attentive and an overall amazing server. The calamari was perfect. The fried mushrooms were good. The steak was seasoned lightly but undercooked and I had to send it back. The lobster was overcooked. The bread was good. The salad was good. The cheesecake was exceptionally yummy. It was a Monday and they were open and the dining area was quiet but too dark for me. The portions were reasonably sized so we did take the left overs. I wouldn't refuse to go here again but I probably won't go out of my way to go here again.
I recently dined at this restaurant and have mixed feelings about the experience.
On a positive note, it was refreshing to find a restaurant that still serves escargot, a dish that has become increasingly rare at many establishments.
However, I must mention that the prices at this place have significantly increased. My guest and I both felt that the prices were about 20% higher than they should be, which makes it less suitable for those on a tight budget. This aspect definitely warrants reconsideration.
On a brighter side, the service we received was excellent. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, leaving us with no complaints in that department.
However, the presentation of the dishes did not match the high prices. Although my guest and I opted for pasta to save on costs, the dishes were merely average and didn't justify the amount we paid.
Overall, both my guest and I miss the old restaurant and its previous business model. Unfortunately, it falls short of our expectations and doesn't live up to its former glory.
Onion ring and their ranch is a bomb! Very delicious!
We've been here before and the pasta was very good! So we decided to ordered the same dishes again, but to be honest we were disappointed. We ordered Beef Stroganoff Pasta, the meat was overcooked and dry, T-bone steak, also tough meat and Fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli. All these dishes was bland. ???? with their prices I really wish the food was good like before.
The good side are the presentation of the food are nice, the food came out hot and fresh. And the waitress is amazing!!!
Rave!! My husband took me to White Mountain Mining last night for an early birthday dinner! Man the food was fantastic, our server was so sweet and attentive. 1000% recommend going in there. They seriously never disappoint!
Amazing birthday dinner! Our server Evan was amazing! The Calamari was cooked perfectly. Needless to say our eyes were bigger than our stomachs.
