Ordered a cheesesteak sub and it was good. I wish there was more meat in the sandwich but other than that it was pretty decent. Bread was very fresh to.They gave me onions on the side, thinly sliced as well as pepper sauce which topped off my sandwich. Not really a place I will go out my way to visit again, but if I was around the way, I will stop by and grab a sub again.
The White House Subs has a long history with me. My grandfather used to eat at the White House when he was a young man. He shared his love for the White House Special with me . My grandfather and I would sometimes drive from Pottstown Pa, which is 1 and half to 2 hours just to get a sandwich and drive back. We did this a couple of times a year. Unfortunately, I lost my grandfather and best friend. But I still carry on the tradition with my daughter
I hate to say it but I was Highly disappointed.
I was told this place was good, but it really was mediocre at best.
Honestly it tasted like something you’d get from your local grocery store in the premade sandwich section.
The meatball sub ($11.50)—the meatball was so salty, and to top it off, the bread was soggy and not toasted. 5/10, I wouldn’t get it again, but if there was nothing else to eat, and that was the only thing available, I guess I’d eat it.
The White House special ($10.80) and the turkey and cheese ($10.90) were nothing special. 6/10 much better than the meatball one, but wouldn’t get it again.
Dropped $100 thinking it would be the same quality White House Subs used to be. We received dry sandwiches-seemed like they spent more money on wrapping the sandwiches than the ingredients. Where is Voltacos when you need them?
Staying at the Borgata and tired of high priced casino food. Easy drive over to White House Subs. Oh. hell, these are great! There is a reson these were Frank and Dino's favorite subs. This is the real Jersey! One 1/2 sub can feed two for lunch. They are delicious!
Nice sub shop to get a tasty delicious fresh meal. Nice friendly staff they make you feel like part of the family.
They have a wide selection of options on their menu for you to choose from.
Stopped by for the first time in a long time and glad we did. We got there early enough to avoid waiting or dealing with a crowd. Our waitress (young blonde) was so nice and friendly! We had a cheese steak and Italian sub with chips and soda for about $30 plus tax, very reasonable! The food of course was delicious and well worth the price but the place looks exactly like it has since 1946 when it opened! ???? Some of the great celebrity photos that line the walls are starting to fade but it was cool to sit in the booth that Whitney Houston sat in when she ate there! ????????????
This place is an absolute gem. Fantastic subs, and I do mean fantastic. The size and fair pricing is astonishing. We had a great lunch and then came back the next day before heading home to bring some home for family and dinner. The service, the atmosphere, the cleanliness. Every damn thing about this establishment is A+. I can not recommend White House Subs enough!
