It's all about the Stromboli here.
Other dinner food is decent, but portions to price aren't the best on some other items.
Service as far as pick up goes is great just don't know much about dine in that's why I gave it 3 stars.
Their breakfast is good and affordable.
The homemade toast was great. The omelet was perfectly portioned, and the hash Browns were good as well.
The breakfast sandwiches are pretty good as well.
We'll be ordering breakfast again for sure.
The food was very tasty. I had the White Horse Salad which is similar to the Michigan Cherry Salad. One of my friends had the Shrimp Tacos, be careful of the very hot sauce on them. The service was exceptional, and the servers were helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was tavern type, a little darker, but overall pleasant.
I haven't been to the White Horse Tavern in quite a while. I had a craving for the omelets.
Inside, it's dimly lit restaurant with some brick work and old barn style planks and wood beams. Tables and chairs along with bar counter with stools

I really enjoyed the old tavern vibe of the place (not the place for you if you a like bright, well-lit atmosphere) and the service was good. My grilled cheese was overcooked, however, and some of my fries were cold and others were hot. My boyfriend enjoyed his club sandwich.
Stopped in at 7:00 pm with intentions of going to a movie nearby at 8:30. It was a Monday night, not particularly busy.
It took a while to be served. We ordered drinks 1st, it took at least another half hour to put in a food order. (Also no one asked if we needed more drinks until we were ready to leave). Ordered 2 meals and a cup of soup to start. The cold soup was brought out with the meal, almost an hour after our arrival. We had to rush to eat and did not finish our dinner before we had to leave to catch the movie.
As for the food, the Chopped Salad was very good- it was huge and had generous portions of all toppings. I asked for dressing on the side but my request was not accommodated. Husband ordered the shrimp basket and cheddar broccoli soup, both were just awful.
The atmosphere is the saving grace, if you like an authentic dive bar with local flavor...that also means it's dirty though, I was presented a menu covered in stains when I arrived and the tables and chairs look like have been through a war. The other patrons were friendly and struck up conversation- it's that kind of place which is the reason I don't regret my visit.
First time dinning at the White Horse Tavern. We stopped in with a friend after a day of exploring the area. Service and food was excellent! My burger was cooked to order and the fish and chips was very good. We don’t get in the area very often but we will be repeat customers! I definitely recommend the White Horse Tavern!
We went as a group for bookmclub. The food was good but I didn't notice that the shrimp taco had boom boom sauce so it was way too hot for me. They gave me another without sauce. Variety of food. Good friendly service. The lighting was a little dark as we needed our phone to see the menu.
