Happend to drive by this place and immediately turned around to have something for ride home. Ice Cream was not an option, don't think it's home-made ice cream anyway. The atmosphere was amazing. Loved the whole vibe. The food was average diner food. I ordered a burger and fries. I asked for pickle and ketchup, and that is exactly what I received. Was happy about that, not the norm for take out food in general. $20 for Burger, Fries and XL Drink. Easy to see why this place is a South Jersey staple. Definitely would stop again. Want to try the soft serve next.
Came up here to try the blueberry soft serve. Was good, nice texture, pretty creamy. Beautiful twist on the cake cone.
Also had lunch while here. Got the beef meat cheese fries, crispy chicken sandwich and jersey devil cheese steak. Foods alright, very fresh and clean but it's pretty diner food nonetheless.
Didn't realize there was an inside until walking around from the ice cream counter entrance.
Very diner feel inside. Pretty warm inside.
Didn't know the price of anything on the big signs outside. Didn't really get a chance to see if there were prices on any menu inside.
Also tried a cinnamon bun peanut butter simple sundae. Was nice.

Can't believe I haven't written a review for white dotte! Childhood fav , now an adult and it still remains one of the best ice cream spots in the state. Absolutely love when they bring out the blueberry soft serve, it's a must try! Also I have not dined inside in quite a while, however their chicken and waffles with gravy is absolutely delicious
A great place to visit with the Hotrod, with great food that you don't have to wait around forever for because there on top of getting your order to you. Also great stop for CB parts. 10-4 there good buddy.
EDIT TO ADD:
Updating my review since I was burned once again. Ordered the cowboy burger which the menu states as having ‘fried onion’s. I’m no chef but I’d say that’s more like chopped and practically raw onions….

My husband and I love white dotte and we’re always excited when they reopen every spring! But our last visit left something to be desired… more food! I ordered a cheesesteak and honestly the amount of meat they put on has so drastically declined that they could have fit it all on one half of the roll. When you’re paying $11-12 for JUST the cheesesteak (no side, no pickle, nothing else) you expect to see it actually full…
White dotte, please PLEASE look at your portions and stop giving people less and less while thinking we won’t notice…
Fantastic ice cream! I had the fruit flavor with birthday cake dip and cone for my birthday. I loved it! Even the small size is generous. You can also get your ice cream in a cup. Great service and friendly. There is also ample space with clean picnic tables to sit out back and enjoy your treat. Lively pleasant music too.
Got a peach and raspberry swirl hot fudge sundae. Wow! It was fantastic. They line the entire cup with hot fudge, fill it over the top a bit and they don't skimp on the whipped cream with a cherry on top. So yummy! Been meaning to try this place for a long time but it just never worked out. So happy I got there. Sad I missed the blueberry though. Next time I'll try some food.
A must stop when you're in the area! A true staple of South Jersey with some of the best ice cream you'll find!
Do not pass by when you see it!!
