Best WLM Reviews
So I don't normally give bad reviews, but I have had nothing but bad service from White Cottage in Elgin several times in a row, mostly bad delivery issues, this time 1 hr 30 mins, and food is cold, 2 weeks ago over 2 hours as their driver was pulled over and arrested for a warrant as they told me over the phone after I called for a 3rd time to find out when we were get our food, always an attitude when I call with an issue
Placed an order over the phone the guy taking the order was unprofessional didn't ask for my phone number or name and he was in a hurry to take my order I told him I had a coupon for a free small cheese pizza with a purchase of $40.00 or more, when I arrived my order was short he screwed up my order and now thanks to him it ruined my whole familys meal told me if I waited they would make the pizza for me but while I wait for the pizza they didn't make now my other food will be sitting there cold. My family and I regularly order from white cottage because other food establishments always screw up my orders, now white cottage is doing the same thing. How difficult is it to take an accurate order.
I've wanted to try this place for a while got tire of the other food places around there and I must say best decision ever! the food was Excellent!!. I had the calamari which was fresh tender and fried perfect. I also got a 18 inch meat lover pizza it was cheesy and meaty absolutely delicious.
Ok so it's been over 25 yrs since I had white cottage pizza. Still super yummy pizza
I can't do five stars bc it WAS ICE COLD PIZZA!!! Come on
Why??? I know bc the driver was on one end of town and he came here last. Why would you give your driver opposite ends of town?? I was and still am sooooo pissed. I raved to the hubby how good their pizza was. When you get an ice cold pizza, your starving as it is, and the driver is 35min late, it makes me think maybe I shouldn't order from them? Really disappointed after 25+ yrs. I should just get a refund or a new pizza delivered. Let them warm it up in the microwave so it gets even worse tasting! Signed,

I want to commend the closing staff. We went here after my kiddos rehearsal at blizzard theater it was around 9:35. She really was hungry after a long day and tough rehearsal. Sadly door was locked. And ovens were being shit down. Cue disappointment from my kiddo when I got into car. A man came out just as I was pulling out and offered to make us the pizza we only wanted a cheese and a medium so it was all good
They were out by 10 closing time and we had deicious pizza that made a little blister in the roof of our mouth because well you know hot cheese! ???? and bonded over listening to Chappell Roan while we waited. And he even brought it to the car even though I was waiting to the moment, I saw the box so I didn’t have to inconvenience them anymore so nice and . Over all precious moment and hot cheezy ???? much gratitude for this.
The stuffed artichokes were a joke the rest was pretty good
Ordered carry out from website and there was a glitch that caused an issue. Management was super helpful in resolving the issue. Always love getting the pastas from here for family birthday parties.
We had White Cottage Pizza delivered to our son’s wedding reception at the Brix in Carpentersville on June 28th 2024 as a late night snack for our guest. The delivery time was spot on and the pizza was delicious.
Thank you again for going above and beyond !
