Order 20 cheese and 4 doubles. Got home and this was one of the doubles. C'mon, You gonna tell me they didn't know they was putting it in the box like this. Bad enough that you pay $2 and some change for a double but didn't even get half a single. Comical!
I just went into this one particular White Castle to get a fountain drink. It was before lunch and it was fairly slow at the drive-thru with only a few customers coming in. The problem I had with the place was. It had trash all over the floor. In the dining area and tables. In the waiting line there was trash and a wrong feeling to the surface of the floor. As if the surface had been contaminated with something or was not cleaned properly. There was spillage and trash all around the soda fountain area. The soda fountain itself was not properly calibrated and was not registering people's fingers on the screen as it was a digital multi dispenser soft drink machine. The cashier was quick, efficient, and friendly as they took my order. I did not check the bathroom or look really hard around at the care and maintenance of the facility as just looking at the condition of the place I think it gave me enough of an idea that I probably did not want to investigate any further. I was quite glad that I had not ordered any food. As I don't think I would have felt very comfortable eating in that environment. This was my first time at this particular location so in the near future I will try to get back to this location and give it another go to see if these problems are a continuing problem or it was just one of those days.
It was 5:58 a.m. was told they could not accept cash at that time and it had to be debit or credit only. Took over 10 minutes to get our food and it was so crammed in the bag you couldn't even fold the flap over and it got cold before we could get it home only one block away from greenwood to West pages ridiculous. Lady that waited on us was rude didn't say thank you have a good day nothing never even spoke except for to tell me she couldn't accept cash.
I just sat in the drive thru for a door dash that was picked up on my dash app at 10:47pm, I finally got the order delivered to her at 12:10 am. I ordered a Lemonade since was sitting so long, and got a sprite. At least I was able to have something to drink. Hella under staffed for a weekend. The people in there were struggling to try and keep up.
I went to pickup my online order and the doors were locked. I was told "that even though there were people in the lobby that I was not going to be let in and that I'd need to wait in the line" that was wrapped around the building. If you're that short staffed and won't let people pick up their order, you need to turn off online ordering.
Classic White Castle Great food!
My food was cold, cheese wasn't even melted on burgers. I asked for tartar sauce for my fish with onions butmy fish didn't even have onions. My onion rings were so hard they couldn't be eaten. I had no Duesseldorf mustard or ketchup either. Plus this was the worst ever meal. I was charged 12.71 for 3 cheese burgers, 26.00 for 6 cheese 2 onion rings and 2 more cheese. Add much as food cost now days this is so wrong.
Please do me a favor and don’t ask what seedy part of Louis the 16th’s Ville I’m in. My first time at White Castle so thought I’d give it a solid review. Boy did my .89 (where’s the cent sign on an iPhone) go a long way. Never has a Hawaiian bun and mustard ever taste so good. Ironically I assumed I bought a hamburger ????♂️. The staff had a good laugh at it being my first time. Food wasn’t bad and happy to see it was a dog friendly establishment. #fivestars
