The White Castle in Bellville, IL is a lot better than the one in Fairview Heights, IL.
Walking in the door, the floor is absolutely filthy. Up at the counter there is food all round the register.
The staff just stand there looking at nothing. Look like they could careless about their jobs. Unfriendly and unwelcoming.
The soda machine area was filthy, tried multiple drinks that came out as water.
The burgers were basically served on booger buns...aka they were sopping wet and just a big blob of a bun.
Overall I'd give them a ZERO. Get new staff, teach them customer service so they can enjoy their work, clean the place up.
If I could give this location a zero I would. ALWAYS slow. I ordered a door dash and half of it wasn’t in the bag when it was delivered so I proceeded to go get what I was missing and the staff was very rude and said “it was in the bag” when I told them it wasn’t unless the Uber driver got into the bag and ate them which they didn’t, the guy was rude and said they couldn’t do anything about it. He acted like he was paying for 2 bacon egg and cheese sandwhiches from his own pocket. All I’m saying is if it’s not right for the customer, just fix it . I work in fast food as well and this is not the way to run a business. I am still sitting in line for those 2 bacon egg and cheese sandwhiches 30 minuses later.
My food wasn't real fresh but wasn't too bad. I could hear one of the workers complaining (loudly) that she's tired of working. She obviously didn't care who heard her carrying on. No one was working very hard. There was only one other person in the dining room and the place was disgustingly dirty. Half of the soda options in the machine were unavailable as well. Sadly, this scenario is pretty much what you get at most fast food restaurants these days.
Decent location. Customer service could improve. Mostly young people working at these places, so you know how that goes.
Waited over 40 minutes in line for a DoorDash order that was done when we got here. Don’t come here if you have less than an hour to spend waiting and wasting gas
Twice I've been sent to this restaurant for Uber Eats orders and both times it was closed. Tonight I arrived before 11:30. This restaurant IS NOT open until 1 am!!!!
Ordered through the drive thru at 6:15am. Was dark out, but they forgot to turn on sign for menu. Ordered the breakfast sandwich. Used to be an egg sandwich on toast, what I got was a slider. Worst part, I bit down into a piece of plastic. So disgusting! Sandwich tasted of old grease, not sure if the oil they use to fry the eggs needs changed. The girl at the window was pleasant.
