Best WLM Reviews
We ordered and the woman who came out to greet us gave us the wrong total then basically ran off with the card before we could say anything, tried to get her attention and she ignored us. She then proceeded to try and tell her manager it was our fault for “not paying attention”. Very unprofessional and this isn’t the stuff that should be tolerated when working fast food.
My experiences at this White Castle location have been mixed, with customer service often falling short. On my most recent visit, I went with my sons around 8 p.m. The restaurant wasn’t busy—my family and I were the only customers inside, with just a couple of cars in the drive-thru. Despite the lack of crowd, it took a noticeable amount of time for anyone to greet us. Several employees looked our way but didn’t say a word. When someone finally came to take our order, they seemed distracted and were on their phone, which felt unprofessional.
After we ordered, the issues continued. We asked to dine in, but when our food was ready, it was just placed on the counter in a to-go bag, with no notice that it was ready. I asked for a tray, but the employee handed it over with what seemed like an attitude and quickly walked away. I also had a hard time getting someone’s attention to ask for condiments, only succeeding after raising my voice slightly.
This location is often on the messier side; tables aren’t always cleaned promptly, which is disappointing. Since this White Castle is the closest to my home, we still go occasionally, and it’s not always a bad experience. However, service quality is hit-or-miss, and cold items like fries or chicken rings have become a common issue. Employee turnover seems high, which may explain the inconsistency. All in all, it’s a convenient place to grab a quick meal, but it often lacks in cleanliness and customer service.
The employees were very nice. The dinning area and men's bathroom we're filthy. Evey table top was dirty. The dinning room need some work. My chair had one short leg, therefore it was wobbly. I noticed the table beside us had a chair in the same condition. Our burgers were good, the fries were barely warm, the sloppy joe was okay. We won't order the sloppy joes again.
Was a little slow getting through the drive thru but the food was hot, fresh and delicious so I've got no complaints on the wait
Door dashing last night around 10 pm. Got the notification that the food was ready to be picked up as I pulled up. Walked in, and it was ready. Waited for 22 minutes, and the food still wasn't ready. No one could tell me what was taking them so long. The women behind the counter couldn't get the order to me because it hadn't been started yet. There was a lot of confusion and a lot of back and forth with the lady making my food constantly walking away and talking to others.
8/13/24 I went through the drive through as o have many times before but today a young man had the door open handing out food. I must say he was doing a great job. I have never seen work ethic like this at this location. Hopefully he is being paid his worth. Keep it up.
Waited 21 minutes for 3 cheese burgers, never got them ,, I ask if they were ready, they said I got bumped . They took 4 more orders ,passed out their food ,,, and I still didn't have mine. So I threw down my receipt and left with out any lunch ,, no money back ,,, and NO apologies. I get 30 minutes for lunch , that's all ,,, o well
We drove to our neighborhood White Castle, to find orange cones in front of the drive-thru. Thinking it was closed we drove to a neighboring town and ordered. When we rounded the corner of the building to approach their drive-thru, we were surprised to see oramge cones in front of their window too. As we approached we could tell that the window was now mounted in a large sliding door that was slightly open. The door slid open and the young lady stepped out to deliver our drinks. We asked why she had to leave the security of the restaurant and approach stranger's vehicles instead of using the window.
We strongly suggest White Castle prioritize the safety of their employees over using their new gadget.
