We went to the drive-thru saw sloppy joe sliders so we got them Good but no onions or green peppers! We went back next day n got cheese burger sliders yummy as usual!
It's fast food it will fill you up but it's not great. Staff acts like they heat their life and they hate you. If your emo this is your place. If you want service with a smile and decent food keep looking.
I grew with the legendary white castles in Whiting Indiana. I have high standards. What I got from this location was absolutely great cheeseburgers. They were hot. The buns were just the right texture. They weren’t dry and the pop from the machine was Coke and it was nice and sweet. It wasn’t just bitter carbonation The restaurant was clean. The staff was very nice. I will definitely be back since the one in Chesterton close down.
I had two sliders after not eating at a WC in about a decade. Big, BIG mistake - I had to find a bathroom every 10-15 minutes all the way home, 4 fun-filled hours. I guess they have graduated to Turbo-sliders...it was brutal. I'm probably never ever going back.
The staff have always been nice there. It is attached to a gas station which makes it unique and convenient. The prices of the gas are often very good here and the food has been consistently good for a White Castle.
Waited ten minutes at the speaker for them to refuse to make us food. We ordered ten impossible sliders and were told "our impossible slider thing is down." What does that even mean? It really just sounded like they did not want to make our food. I've never had this problem before. Left hungry and upset.
Came all the way from Dallas to stop and get White Castles here. Worth the trip!!!
Everything we expected it to be. Fast service, nostalgic sliders, nice employees. We will probably visit again when we are in the area. Got a box to take home (2 hrs away) and tasted amazing even warmed up.
