I ate here in November 2023, May of 2024 and once again in Oct 2024, my only request is that the workers spend more time in the dining room cleaning up the tables/walls/drink stations.
I understand it gets busy, but there is one particular spot where it looks like someone either wiped boogers/or food...or something and it has been there for a nearly a year, that tells me that the dining hasn't had any TLC in quite some time....I have visited the White Castle in Corydon Indiana and it is immaculate and so clean, so I know it can be done.
All that being said, I love White Castle and my food is always cooked to perfection, the workers are nice guys and they bust their butts in the kitchen.
We ate inside. The burgers was good but not hot. I asked for fresh fries & got them. Someone was VERY loud & obnoxious, ALOT of cussing. Some manager needs to pay more attention to their cameras, for the shenanigans. We were NOT impressed. Especially, since I had posted an excellent review about a yr ago!!!
I have not eaten here in over 5 years because of two previous incidents that made it easy for me to choose not to eat there anymore but, I have been craving sliders and crinkle fries for sometime so, I stopped in and gave them another chance.
I ordered the 10 sliders for $7.99 and also the crinkle fries and also a breakfast slider on a waffle bun with sausage egg and cheese.
Everything was really good and I'm glad that I gave them another chance.
Love love loveeee White Castle. The only issue that I have with this restaurant is how expensive they are now.
Food is decent, staff is nice. The facility looked like it could use a bit of cleaning in the dining areas and restrooms. Prices are great and the service was pretty fast. drive thru is a little tight for the large vehicles.
About as good as one can expect for sliders. The food was fresh and hot, no complaints there. The gentleman at the window was polite.
I always go thru drive thru late. It’s always kinda hit and miss with the onions because I don’t like onions on my burgers and it always seems there are a bunch of teenagers working. I can eat them tho it’s just not what I order. Still good always hot and fresh unless you get chicken rings. Mine are always cold. Otherwise I love White Castle and I hope we can get a closer one in town.
Yes I gave this five stars! Because it’s exactly what you think it should be, this food does not waiver in one way or another. Those little burgers are soft greasy and oniony! I’m not even sure if that’s a word but it is true. They have a great flavor and they’re perfect whenever you want something that just absolutely does not fit into anything you should ever eat. But when you go don’t be afraid to order way too many of them, you’re gonna regret it but that’s OK! I have a wonderful flavor they’re the exact same every single time, so you don’t have to worry about any variation. But they are also fun to eat! Don’t be afraid to try to fish in the chicken too, both of them are great choices.
