Was the first time that I had gotten White Castle for my children everybody there was extremely nice and extremely helpful with everything that we were doing and extremely patient with all four of my kids bounce around wanting to eat the sandwiches sliders everybody there was super nice and very helpful and explaining what was going on and what was available and the fact that I missed the side menu for the larger portions that I wanted to get instead of ordering a bunch of little portions everything came very quickly everything tasted amazing and highly recommend it as always don't ever go anywhere.
Food was expected for a fast food restaurant. The interior was tired and dated, needs a deep cleaning for sure. There were no paper towel in the bathrooms and no air dryer. The Coca-Cola machine wasn’t functioning as well, had to have the staff give us soda from behind the counter. A positive thing is that the people here are generally nice and attentive to your needs.
I was uncertain what to do or where to stand when I went inside. Place seems very dingy and dark. There were several ppl standing around and couldn't tell who was in line or not.
The person on register was in training so that was fine, expected it to be a little slow when I realized that.
The food, I got 4 cheese sliders and fried cheese rings. I barely ate 1 of the sandwiches. Idk what the "flavor" is on their "meat" but it was not my taste, tasted like it was a paste as well. The cheese also was not melted, that sucked. I have no idea why the sliders are so popular, they taste horrible. But everybody had different tastes.
The cheese rings were glorious, I only got a 3 piece, lucky, bc it's a lot of cheese and I barely finished it only bc it was so much cheese. They were crunchy and delish.
All in all, I might be back and try the sloppy Joe's sliders in hopes it doesn't have that same seasoning as the classic sliders and will certainly get another order of cheese rings. I hope the atmosphere is a little better next time. Perhaps it was simply bc they were busy and trying to keep watch on training while helping customers.
White Castle is a must stop for me every trip to Minnesota. Sliders are just as good as they always have been.
Had lunch with my family today. Bridget was amazing! She’s the manager and her customer service skills are top tier. We actually had an issue with our order today, which happens sometimes, but she went above and beyond to make it up to us. This lady deserves her own store or at very least a raise! Thank you Bridget for making a basic visit to White Castle, one of the best parts of our day.
I never leave reviews. Buy Today just had to. The lady with the pretty skin and blue hair. Omg her personality is everything. You can tell her coworkers enjoy working with her. The way she handles pressure is top tier. It was so busy but baby food was hot and fresh. Love the way she admires her regular customers. First time at this location and I will be back lol... I hope she's a supervisor or manager or something...if not promote asappppp...
Imagine thinking of a crave case for dinner with family a long held tradition, then pulling into the drive through to order a gentleman sounding distracted ask for my order, I proceeded to tell him a 30 grave case . He responds by saying how many, then says wait, a female the says pull up. Pull up what ? Are my pants down , so I as I pull up to the second window I have to pass the first unused window and notice a gentleman in blue and a female in orange standing at the end of the grill laughing and watching a video, so I proceed to the second window and sit for 30 seconds and the female in orange comes swings the window open as says 39 dollars. I responded by saying you haven’t even finished my order, thank you have a good day . And I left. Over the years this has been our go to store but in the last two the service has gone to very poor . Perhaps if you would hire better people and pay them what their worth this location would be what it once was. As for me I will stop eating White Castle until they build one in Cambridge Mn.
Went through the drive through to get 4 sliders with jalapeño cheese. 3 cars in line including me. Took me 25 minutes just to get up to the window only to find out they're out of jalapeño cheese. This older lady then said that she's the only one working because nobody else showed up and it's not even her store. Ordered a drink, paid for a drink, never got it. If you can't staff the store, then close the doors until you can get people in there working. Poor management is the reason for poor service.
