White Bear Ave location. Burgers were slightly cold, fries too. Chicken with cheese was overcooked - hard and greasy. Service was extremely slowwwww. Sat at the drive-thru speaker for 7 minutes before I was acknowledged. I would have left, but there were cars behind me. I occasionally visit this location. This was the first time the service was this bad.
This is directly to your night crew on Saturday, September 28th around 10PM.
The drive thru speaker was working completely fine but this crew decided it was better to take orders one by one AT the window while taking their sweet time with several cars in line.
Instead of taking additional orders through the speaker while the car at the window waited for their orders this crew just waited for the window order to finish, then asked the next car to come up to the window to order. I waited literally 25 minutes at the drive thru menu before they even spoke to me (was stuck between cars). They announced through the speaker for me to drive up to the window (clearly the speaker was working fine!) Once there they took my order and I watched 3 crew members laugh, and stand in a circle not doing a thing while another was actually making the actual burgers. It took another 5 minutes just for my drink while they were doing nothing.
I was lucky there was a short line when I got there and got my food after 30+ minutes. Anyone else behind me probably waited an hour+ for their order.
You need a new night manager and crew.
Pretty much what you would expect from a White Castle. :) The lobby could have used some attention with cleaning and supplies, but the food was White Castle perfect and the employees were friendly and fast!
Guy, that was working the drive thru has ZERO customer service. He took my order and then didn't acknowledge anything for about 2 minutes. Then he said I could drive up. He took my card and ran it, gave it back to me, then closed the window w/o saying a word. Then he opened the window w/o looking at me while dangling my food out the window while talking to someone inside (a coworker) hoping I see and grab the food (good thing I was paying attention) otherwise I bet he would've dropped it on the ground and the way his service was going i dont think he'd gaf. It's very rude and awkward customer service. He should go work somewhere else that suits his working attention.
Has the good White Castle grubbin’ but the drive thru at this store can sometimes be slow AF! The drive thru screen hasn’t worked in years and the microphone must need to be replaced cause they often have trouble hearing/understanding orders. Employees have always made sure we’ve got what we ordered are usually friendly although I think this store is understaffed, they work hard here for sure. Even if it takes 30+ mins on a Friday night to get two large shakes. WORTH IT!
Have had to deal with people asking for money while sitting in this drive thru from time to time as well.
Ordered at the drive though, we got our usual order when we went there. The prices went up . Drive, though service was good.
Quick and easy! Can feed a lot of people on a small budget. Staff is always friendly, and service is usually fast. No complaints, and the food is always hot n fresh.
I was really impressed with the upkeep of this place. Several white castles in this area have went down.So for this place to still be up to par is a really good thing. ???????? The guys on the drive through are really cool and knowledgeable about suggestions for things on the menu. Maybe it's because they've tried them all LO.L. Either way whenever you have time try the 1932, i think thats it. A slider with lettuce and ???? I most definitely would recommend stop and throw this White Castle.Just make sure if you come on a Saturday.You aren't in a complete rush and can wait the normal time in the drive.
