Just when i thought brick didn't need anymore chain restaurants, they pull the white Castle on us.
Nice new and clean, it's white Castle, great 2020: location to pick. Same as your usual, five stars for it being white Castle, keeping it clean and everything you expect out of it
2024 Edit: for some time they had not the greatest employees at the window but shout out to employee #203, he was super helpful with an issue, kind, and courteous! The food takes a little while to come out but still glad this one's still around
Like i went back in time to the fast food I enjoyed as a kid. The staff are professional, courteous, and efficient. The food is a greasy mess to tickle the taste buds... What else would you want or expect from White Castle?
By far the best White Castle around the Jersey Shore. I always get 20 cheeseburgers with no onions and pickles. They/She always make sure there is absolutely no onions & pickles. Thank you for great service and food. See you soon
Ate at this one at least 3 times now. Very nice employees and food is consistent. Bathrooms were clean, but dining room could be cleaner. Tables should be wiped more often. Wish they had napkins and ketchup near soda machine.
Don’t waste your money here getting their fries or sliders with bacon. A sack of fries is $5 and a complete rip off for what you get. See photo.
Instead, go buy a bag of frozen French fries at your local grocery store called Lamb Weston Idaho potatoes and you will have the best crispiest fries for only $5. Highly recommended by Epicurious 3 chefs who tested all versions of frozen fries. These are second only to fine dining fries.
The addition of bacon is 70 cents and is a tiny piece of bacon. Buy a pound of it for $7 and you can probably fill about 100 sliders for a fraction of the cost.
Service is slow because they make it on demand. It’s best to walk in so you don’t have to waste gas idling your car.
To my knowledge, this is the newest one in these parts ( tho not so new anymore). They should be ashamed - You would think the owner or manager would be on top of things. At 1st I said well ok- they're new - give em a chance. But here we are how many years open now?
Order is often wrong & food not up to par. One of my 1st visits, stale burgers! Think they made a bunch ahead & they just laid there a long time My last order was terrible! French fries tasted, "off" - old oil or frying fish in same oil ? Also, they never cook em long enough. The burgers? The buns were wet & soggy ( inside). They either fell in water or were frozen & not properly defrosted (shouldn't be frozen!)
I've grown up with JC WC's ( NEVER a problem - this WC would never be able to keep up with the volume sold there), been to North Bergen - No problem

Howell - no problem. These don't even taste quite right. Someone once said they saw them use microwave- hope that's not true, but would explain a lot. Worth going a few extra miles to avoid. (Also twice closed early when site said open 'til)
Maybe give em one more chance in a few months -- see if they can get their act together.
The pickle on my burger was thicker than the meat. Won’t buy again. They used to be so good!!
