Stopped in here around 9pm, on 8/22/24. We had left Alabama earlier in the day, and wanted a quick bite to eat before our next stop in Hannibal. Everything was made fresh, and you can see by the evidence that we ate everything. No complaints. Everyone was very friendly. We'll definitely be stopping in again on our way back to Alabama.
I like my sliders with everything which should include the mustard ketchup mix. But the cooks were working hard trying to get the 10 pack cheesy slider specials out long drive through line so I went inside. Lady I ordered from seemed to be put out. Let’s face it not exactly health food but not bad once in a while.
I go here all the time and the automated attendant ALWAYS screws up. As a software engineer, I have a decent grasp on what an AI-based ordering system needs to do its job. I speak clearly, in simple language and use the exact terms listed on the menu board. Once, I asked a side question: Do you have strawberry shakes? I ended up with ten 10-counts of cheese sliders...yes, it thought I wanted 100 cheese sliders! White Castle, fire your AI developers and get a system that works. Lee's Fried Chicken(in Jefferson City) has an excellent one!
Waited 45 minutes for the order to be ready when we ordered ahead. Very rude staff. We were pulled after sitting at the window for 10 minutes and waited another 20 minutes for our food only for the man making it to stroll out singing a song about taking his time with no apology and flipped us off and the food was old, cold and missing pickles. Corporate will be contacted.
Waited 30 minutes for order. They literally have cheese slices sitting on the basic counter. Guy asked the lady what the girl was waiting for and she said I don’t know why don’t you ask her and yelled the last part of it at him. He looked at me and then walked off. They were prepping food on a disgusting unclean surface. And then was touching the register and the bump buttons with the same hands. He was prepping food with. Did not change his gloves at all. But the main part that I’m stressing. Why would you have cheese on the same counter You put money on. Not even a food prep counter. I cant Wait until the health department sees this.
Food's good. Usually long lines with the doors to the lobby locked without any notice as to why. Very frustrating when ordering online to pickup in store just to be forced to sit and wait in a line of vehicles with no way to cancel your order and go elsewhere.
We look forward to stopping at the Wentzville White Castle when traveling thru St. Louis.
Today, the service was friendly, but slow. The restrooms were clean. However, while the dining room was not busy, it appeared that a tornado had gone through earlier. All of the tables needed cleaning, and the floor was in GREAT need of someone with a broom and dustpan. We've never seen it like this here or at any other fastfood/restaurant either. We hope they get their act together.
At this White Castle location, it's drive-thru only. The drive-thru was kind of slow, but it tastes just as good as every White Castle I've ever been to!! Customer service was good, and the parking lot was clean. The cashier, was masked ???? up.
