On the bucket list for 17 years. Finally, traveling through the states, I got to experience it, and better yet, with my kids. It lived up to my expectations after seeing the movie oh so many years ago. BTW, the kids loved it.
I ordered 5 white castles, no cheese, I received 5 white castles with cheese but in the blue box. I don’t know if they were short staffed, if they were dreaming of Santa since it was Christmas Eve or they just didn’t care but they need to get it together. Mine wasn’t the only order messed up by them this evening.
When you’re out and about, it can still be difficult in new towns to get a sense of what places may or may not have plant-based options. One that a lot of folks tend to not consider when choosing a spot is that White Castle not only has their long-standing veggie slider, but also the coveted Impossible Slider.
By default, the Impossible Slider is advertised with cheese, but you can simply ask for no cheese and suddenly this slider is vegan. Coming with the traditional pickle and onions, this tiny little burger packs a powerful punch. With some piping hot crinkle cut fries and a drink to wash it down and it’s a perfect meal for when you’re in new territory looking for quality bite. Looking forward to the next visit!
Fast food as usual, service was good today but seems to heavily depend on what they feel like, today 5 star later on may be 1 star service, can be a toss up, otherwise your usual white castle fare
STAY AWAY!!! Worst possible place to get food and worst experiences we have ever had every time we decide to give it another chance. Today there was absolutely no excuse. No line. Wasn't busy. The girl in drive through must have been high because she couldn't take or understand the easiest possible order and made me repeat it multiple times. She read it back and it was correct. Got home and not only was half the order missing but the bread on the three sandwiches that we got was super old, hard and stale so they must have been sitting out all day. Even worse both the coffee and the soft drinks kids were not closed so as quick as I picked them up they went all over me and my car. What a nightmare. So once again I tried to call and ask for a manager and once again the girl who took the order acted like she was the manager and basically told me she can't help me through the order was correct and there was nothing she could do. Every time I go here multiple issues and then try hard to cover for themselves. I don't believe any of these episodes reviews are real. As it's ALWAYS. Aoroble. Her enas everyone in the area knows it and agrees. Go somewhere else these folks can't get anything right ever. We stupidly go back there once or twice a year wjen the McDonald's across the streets line is super long (for a reason! Because everyone avoids this place like the plague that it is) and it's always the same nightmares over and over. Close this place down already. It's been making white castle look bad for far too long
I don't know about anyone else but this is my late night go too!! The LOADED FRIES are my perfect late night appetite pleaser for sure ! And the night crew is always on point !! Couple sliders too. Perfection.
I typically love White Castle and was so very excited when I saw that there was one at the Hobart exit on the way home from Chicago. The inside of the restaurant was decorated so festive, and the young lady taking the order was polite. Now, the food was an entirely different story. The bottom of the burger bun was soggy with a "slimy" texture to the meat patty and the fries cold. I may never have White Castle again!!
First time having white castle and it did not disappoint. Has the chicken slider, loaded fries and a medium chocolate shake. Fries were some of the best I ever had and the shake was a good size for the price. The seating was nice and clean, nothing was sticky or trashy. I really liked to be able to see all of the kitchen and prep area. Had a nice open concept for a fast food place. I would definitely recommend to try fresh white castle before trying frozen.
