I was so disappointed in the service I just experienced at white castle. I spent $45 and received the worst service ever. I ordered a crave case. The young man with braids and a band aide In the back of his head was so rude. I understand it was 2:30a.m. but I wasn't rude. I ordered 3 large drinks and he was angry because I asked for a cup carrier mad because I ordered a crave case. My kids wanted honey mustard with their cheese sticks he slammed the window and told me ask them up there. Again I was greeted by the same rude young man and he didn't give us our sauce the cup holder should have been doubled. But he was so pleasant with the car in front of me. You lost a loyal customer. Thanks for nothing I'll be sure to tell people if your looking for good customer service you won't find it here. I will be calling corporate in the morning.
Paid $9.5 for a meal only to find out it was....tiny. you could finish your slider in one bite and the entire fries could fit in your one hand. I would expect to atleast feel like I had some food after spending 10 dollars there
I hate the automated order screen. The new system allows you to add items and once you get to the front and they take your payment, they may be out of an item you ordered and already have paid for.
Example: at the end of your order the automated system always ask if you would like to add a butter cake to your order and I added the butter cake, but once they scanned my card they informed me that they did not have the butter cake and offered me a cheese cake that I did not want. Also, the guy ran my card for the order in front of me and gave me their ticket and told me about the mistake. This location needs to do better.
I ordered a 4 cheeseburger combo with a lemonade and a 9 piece chicken ring in Drive-thru on my lunch. I asked when ordering that everything be dropped fresh. The cashier said, "I'm going to be honest with you everything is made to order. As soon as your order is placed, the food is dropped fresh. I received fries that were cold, old, hard and dried out/overcooked. My chicken rings were lukewarm and dried out as well. The meat on the edges of the cheeseburger were hard and dried out as well. This food had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp forever! I received a sprite instead of a lemonade. Terrible! How hard is it to just fulfill my request as promised and provide fresh food. I feel like I wasted my time, lunch, gas, money and breath! I didn't even get the honey mustard I asked for either and was told it was in the bag! Smh just terrible! Tried calling the restaurant several times and no one answers!
Great little place to get sliders and crinkle fries. Friendly and understanding servers. Have been wanting to find one years and finally check this off the bucket list. Also, fries are low in salt for those looking to keep sodium down.
No stars! Went through the drive thru last night.. the worker had an attitude and rushing me to order.. I ordered 3 things with no cheese because i have a severe allergy and they put cheese on everything i didnt even bother to call because the service was horrible! I just threw my order away! Avoid at all cost! Night staff is unpleasant, unprofessional and ghetto
One thing about WC, I've had consistent food since the 60's. You can have breakfast anytime and the still have "real fruit smoothies". I decided to go inside the staff was pleasant, store was clean, (my order was off) but they corrected it with pleasure.
We were passing through Detroit and wanted to find some place to get food that would be close to the highway. We stopped at this White Castle that has a classic vintage look on the outside. Inside the place is so clean and new, it looks like a model store. Employees were friendly, courteous, and fast with getting our order prepared. I decided to get two of the Impossible Burger sliders. I wasn't expecting something like homemade food, but the perfectly grilled onions and carefully grilled patties made them taste fresh and delicious. The thing about little patties, whether vegetarian or meat, is that if they get overcooked they can be kind of hard and leathery. If they are undercooked they don't have the juicy flavor. These were just right, and helped get us back on the road, satisfied and focused for the day.
