STAY AWAY!!! THE WORST fast food experience of my life. The staff was rude to every customer they interacted with. I ordered online at 12:58pm and left at 2:20pm. If we hadn't spent $55 on our food already I would not have waited. We specifically selected drive thru pick up. I got to the speaker and was told I'd have to come inside. There I waited over 40 minutes with 2 customers in front of me. I eventually got sick of waiting as I was next in line and walked up to the window after another 15 minutes or so of not being acknowledged by any staff. Once I mentioned I had an online order I could see them scramble to prepare it. Staff was rude to me, and every customer they interacted with. I never feel the need to go out of my way to review a place but I need to warn people. This was THE worst experience I have ever had at any fast food establishment.
By far my worst experience with a White Castle. I’ve been coming to this specific one since I was a kid and when I tell you the quality of customer service is horrible and the food not much better. I walked in with a called in order that was supposed to be ready based off DoorDash. When I arrived there was a gentlemen ahead of me waiting. I said “excuse me” to the cashier which she then turned and looked me up and down with an attitude. I told her I was there to pick up an order that was placed online. She rolled her eyes and turned around and yelled at the cooks who clearly didn’t realize I had placed the order. As I sat there waiting I realized the gentlemen in front of me had an order as well which wasn’t even being prepared. The crew spent most of their time being very unprofessional with each other and customers. Once the gentlemen got his food I realized they were just starting on mine. I waited 30 minutes to receive an order that should’ve been ready when I got there. After opening the bags I realized the fries were undercooked and cold and the burgers were made too quickly. I do not recommend this establishment at all.
Really do not recommend. I've tried this White Castle twice because I work near it, and it's always an abysmal experience.
It is the slowest White Castle I have ever been to. I was stuck in the drive thru line for almost 20 minutes on my most recent visit, and the one before that was better, but only barely.
You also get stuck because there's a curb closing in the drive-thru lane, so if there's someone ahead of you, be prepared to be there for the long haul.
On top of all of that, the buns on my burgers were dry, and hard, and overall the food was just poor quality.
This is not the restaurant Harold and Kumar risked life and limb for.
This was my first time as a Canadian to try White Castle. What prompted it was hearing a podcast a few weeks ago about this “unique and iconic” American fast food chain. Obviously I knew about White Castle but I didn’t know how few stores they had in the US.
The drive thru wait was so long that the car ahead of me, and the two behind me left without ordering. I put my car in reverse to leave but then finally got someone on the speaker. They must’ve been busy with the single customer in their store.
Then waited about 5 minutes at the window. I had to put my card’s PIN in in front of the employee because the cord wasn’t long enough to reach my cars. Sketchy as heck.
The dude didn’t even get my order right. In the 5 mins he was just standing there he could’ve confirmed what I ordered. Then this is the piece of lettuce I was given in one of my sliders. Literally bottom of the bag, days old rabbit food.
Oh my goood, what a truly American experience! Unique, you bet ya! Unique in that literally every other fast food chain in the US has better food and service hahaha what the heck is this place
So it's 1:13am I'm here at white castles. I wait in drive thru. 5 mins go by. Nobody said nothing. So I drive around to see whose in there. Nobody's inside. So I drive around. And notice a foggy gray car on, in this cold weather we have. But the car is bouncing, the woman is on top of the guy or whatever is on the driver side.
She was riding the shyt outa him. At least I got some excitement. Still starving
Ordered online. Went there on the time it told me to pick up and there was no place to pick up the online order. They closed the dine in door so ended up taking 20 minutes in the normal drive through window and then they didn't even make the order they were supposed to have ready 20 minutes ago. Waited another 5 minutes IN the drive through line. What's the point of ordering online?
Usually slow as heck. Rarely get the order correct but today Jhamita was taking orders and she was on point with a great personality and got my order right. Thanks Jhamita! PS……and why has the shake machine been broken for months and months. Who owns this White Castle? Shame on them!!!!
Just a drive-thru order with a coupon. The order taker knew his job and was very cordial. Got my food the way I ordered it. Giving an extra service star for the free water!
