Why why why does it take approximately 20 min. Before my order is taken after the previous car places their order. RIDICULOUS!! I know there is usually a wait, but that's when there are several cars in line. Tonight at 11:20 there was only ONE! Just came from the airport and no other place was open. I ordered 2 sliders and onion rings and it took 5 min. To take my money and another 7 min for the food. Did not leave there until 11:57. I should've just eaten an apple....smh
I was going to buy something., I'm not a fan of this type of place with low cleanliness in personnel and food.. Saturday, Oct. 26, 9:05 am. No gloves ????, no Uniform ????, he touched his clothes and hair and also prepared ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
My partner hadn't been to a White Castle in nearly thirty years. So we finally stopped in here for lunch - picked up a sack with fries, chicken rings, and ten burgers for $24. If you've eaten out recently, you know that's all but a steal.
What we got was easily enough to feed three adults (and two dogs) with food leftover. The food was all hot and tasty and it was ready quickly. We don't go for sliders often, but I'll happily go back here again when the urge strikes.
Never again will I visit the Matteson location! My food was barely warm(1 double cheeseburger and 1 fry) the fish was hot. I just don't understand why you would give someone some food that's not HOT AND FRESH!!
This was my first and last time eating at White Castle. The absolute worst burgers I have ever eaten. The bottom buns of the burgers were nothing but mush.
We ended up throwing away several of the burgers because they were awful.
The service was fair. And the eating area had zero atmosphere to speak of.
A/O to Layla with her excellent customer service amongst others who are not as kind and well spoken as her. Layla deserves to be a manager or in an elevated position. You are an amazing woman who is going places. ????
Purchased a #1 with a side of onion rings. Got home and onion rings were old and had been fried more than once. So hard there were no onions in them. TOTALLY DISGUSTING that a employee would give that to anyone. I wan a full refund and will not go back there. JEANINE WHITE
My favorite place to eat and they had great customer service.
