Don't want it all the time But when I want it I want it now! Love some sliders!!
Employees were nice as can be...
They were short handed when I went in, but it had zero impact on their attitude or work ethic. They were incredibly pleasent. And the food was White Castle.
I've been eating White Castles ???? just about all my life. I grew up on them. Then I moved away in 1989 but, visits every year. The only thing I don't like about the change at White Castle, are the cheese fries. Back in the day, they use to melt a slice of real cheese on your fries but, now they pour that liquid cheese on them. So I haven't ordered cheese fries in years. But, White Castle ???? is still my go-to spot when I'm in St Louis or Alton. ????????????????
The crew shift that’s there for lunch has the best employees. I love the girl with the darker curly hair and glasses. She is the best and has a great attitude towards her job! Thanks for never giving me a hard time when I use my coupons
Drive thru greeting was unprofessional. Never tell a person to wait a minute, then get back on and say order when you're ready. The cashier has on gloves and assists with packing orders with those same gloves. Cross contamination at its worst. Gloves should be removed, hands washed & new gloves applied. When addressed, cashier did remove old gloves, threw away handled food and apologized but why do customers have to prompt employees on the safety of handling money and food at the same time? Employees on cell phones with gloves on handling food. Very dangerous process as phones are full of germs. I'll never return based on those simple reasons alone. Get off the phones, focus on the task at hand and do you best to deliver nice simple customer service with a smile.
The food is ok. Terrible service though. However, I don't believe that this location alone has poor service. White Castles in general all are staffed with people who all seem to just not care or want to be there. Anytime I have to come to any White Castle to pick up an order for DoorDash, every location takes forever to get orders done, the employees are always standing around talking instead of actually working to fill orders, and I always have a feeling of dread anytime I have to deal with White Castle employees.
Took a trip to St Louis...Seen White Castle ????... haven't had their burgers in 20+ years. None in my home area. Great flash from the past ????. Still the tasty Sliders I remember. Years ago you could buy a sack for a few dollars.... now $1 each . Don't forget their onion rings ????.. One of a kind ..yum ????. My neighbor called me while eating..He wanted me to bring some back home for him...I did...
Food was bland but fresh. Service was great by the one guy doin all the work during a late night mini rush and manager did menial work around him. Took forever but I watched him make it all fresh so not his fault.
