I’ve submitted complaints and to no avail. I ordered a specific order no salt on fries, well done chicken rings and actually spoke to a worker! Received the order and the order was cold , chicken rings mushy and fries with salt! Instead of pulling me up to handle the order properly they disregarded the request and this around 3pm on 11/26/24. I definitely notice the difference in management and it’s unacceptable to mishandle ppl food. This is the worse establishment… it’s a given that they don’t care about customer service and don’t care about ppls dietary restrictions! The whole order went in the garbage,waste of money! Customers have lives ,who wants to keep calling in and going back for an order correction that could have been done properly the first time!!!
Either they don’t know what toast is or the toaster doesn’t work at this location, you have to travel to Hammond or Merrillville to get a real White Castle breakfast toast sandwhich this location has served it this way every single time I know countless number of people who had complained about the same issue
Ordered the panko fish sandwich and Asked for fries to be dropped fresh. So disappointed, no tartar sauce and the fish was dark brown, over fried and tasted so bitter from the cooking oil. And the fries were worse, nothing fresh about them. Tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in a long time. I could smell the old oil when I opened the bag. Threw the entire meal away, which is a shame because with the cost of fast food now being so high now.
This white castle is the best in all of them around. Awesome workers. Hamburgers are always hott, fresh and taste so good.
It's worth the drive to go here.
I ordered a sprite but I got a sprite that was light orange and when I informed the employee they said that the machine puts orange dye in the drinks and acted as if it was not a concern. The reason I get sprite, a clear drink, is because I have a sensitivity to dyes - especially in liquids. I don't feel I should have to drink an accidentally orange sprite when I can drink a regular clear sprite that hasn't been cross-contaminated from somewhere else. The machines should be kept clean and clear.
Hash brown was refried repeatedly and fries were cold. Sliders were cold and soggy. Only good thing is the store has been remodeled and looks bright and clean.
The customer service was friendly enough. However I didn't check my order as I usually do and when I finally took my order out of the bag some 5 minutes and a 1/2 mile later, I noticed they gave me two burgers that undoubtedly have been sitting under the hot lights for hours. They were literally as hard as hockey pucks. Come on White Castle, it's not nanotech, it's burgers how hard is it to get it right? Do better.
Worst White Castle experience in the 40+ years, I've been patronizing.
Burgers were clearly underdone .with raw onion. Buns were doughy.
Service was even worse. I loved watching my server prepare my shake, then just leave it on the counter for 12 minutes while my horrible burgers are prepared. My melted shake went well with my gummy, undercooked burgers.
I will never visit this White Castle again, and one more bad experience with the Castle, and I will open a direct competitor for White Castles. I'll call it Sliders.......
