I grew up with White Castle in NJ and remember my mom taking us because this was the economical choice for a parent with six kids. We used to order hamburgers, fish sandwiches, milkshakes and fries. I was soooo excited when saw the sign from the highway in Kentucky, and we decided to stop. The food still tastes the same! I was very surprised I ordered the fish sandwiches and cheeseburgers and it tasted just like I remember. Now the service is something completely different. It took a while to take our order and to actually get the food and the place needed to be maintained a little bit better. But, this would not have changed the fact that I truly enjoyed the food I purchased. I will definitely return if I am in the area.
All available tables were dirty. I asked for something to clean with and they told me to use napkins. The drink dispenser was awesome, offering lots of various drinks. They do offer military discounts.
Some White Castle locations are better than others. The food is the same, but the cleanliness varies greatly. This location (Cape Girardeau) is not too bad by fast-food standards. Only downside is there is only one drink dispenser, so you may have to wait in line to get your drink.
We came from out of town to get a quick bite here and the speed of service did not disappoint! The food was fresh, hot, and we didn’t spend very long in line at all. The staff was friendly as well. The chicken and waffles slider was absolutely delicious, highly recommend!
The young guy at the window was so sweet. I didn't get his name unfortunately but the was tall with tats on his neck n arms . I had ordered a bunch and he was patient. They got every bit of my order correct that just doesn't happen in fast food anymore. Will definitely be back soon.
Every time I try to use the drive-thru for just a single meal for myself and spend around $8 it takes way too long to get the food and leave. My car has overheated twice in the Drive-Thru waiting to get through it. I think you should have to go inside to order crave cases or crave crates or call ahead.
I stood at the counter for 19 minutes before even asked to take my order. There are 6 employees all focus ond Drive thru. They also played to much.
Took another. Minutes to get 6 sliders. Failed service.
