Oh went because the Mac and Cheese Bites are back. They are delicious as always. The burgers had definitely been sitting there for a while cooked, nothing fresh Bout the look or taste.
Food for the most part is about as good as White Castle usually is, no complaints.
Inside the store is fairly nasty/dirty. The entire floor from dinning area and bathroom was completely sticky, and all the tables and store looked like it hasn't been cleaned in months. Waited in line fairly long for being the only one in there, employees didn't seem to be in a rush to take my order. Not completely swayed from White Castle but it'll probably be awhile before and if I'd come back to this location in the future.
No matter what White Castle you come to, the wait time is always INSANE. This is unbelievable. It shouldn’t take 30 minutes in the drive through to get food! How is this place even still open
It was one of the first Whitecastles I've been to. The service was incredible. Small team working diligently through the lunch rush. My cashier (#1563) was really great and friendly, and after taking our order, he went to help with making orders in the kitchen. The manager was in the kitchen as well, helping her staff work through the orders. They all seemed genuinely happy to be there.
I ordered two breakfast sandwiches, and they came out freshly made and were pretty good. It's standard fast food, but the team here made it a 5 star experience.
No trash can outside. All of the trash cans are hidden behind the dumpster. Lazy employees. Extremely slow service, employee playing around on their phones. Never will be back!
The food wasn’t very warm but we can’t win them all. The service between the two women was phenomenal and should carried over throughout all fast food places. They were very polite & pleasant to deal with. Thank you!
My sliders were fresh and hot, the cheese fries were warm but not a big deal on that , my order was correct
White Castle... I used to drive from Sedalia, MO (or Warrensburg) to St. Charles near St. Louis (multiple hours) just for the thrill of tasting those delicious, warm, oniony, mini burgers. So, decades later, any time I'm in the area where there are White Castle restaurants, I gotta stop by and pick up some burgers and fries.
Is White Castle the epitome of Western culinary mastery? Probably not. But they are so good that a man is willing to ignore the slow service, poor attitudes of the staff, and questionable hygiene for the pleasure of those wonderful burgers. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about the staff, service, or cleanliness... all of which were fine and as expected. But who really cares as long as you get to eat those delicious burgers.
Well done, White Castle. Bravo.
