Haven’t been to a White Castle in years & this one was just down the road from our motel, so talked the kids into trying it. The cashier didn’t even know how much coin change I gave him, he just looked @ it in his hand & said “how many cents is that” - say what??? My grandson only likes ketchup & cheese on any burger & we struggled getting that across to the cashier as well; “meat, cheese & ketchup only” & he had to ask me like 5 times to make sure he had it right. He has no business working the front country taking orders & payments!
The dining room’s tables were in dire need of cleaning, we really had to look for a clean one. The floors were trashed, we waited a good 10 mins for our food so I went up to ask that same cashier how much longer: he said “I don’t know we’re pretty busy right now”, so I went back & sat down - I no longer was seated & he called my name to go back up to get my food ????????♀️
There were 4 ppl assembling burgers, there was only 1 other family in the dining room & we’d seen maybe 5-6 cars go thru the drive through. We didn’t finish the food - was VERY disappointed & won’t return again to ANY White Castle store!
There weren’t any napkins in the dispenser in the lobby, only 4 cup lids, no salt, no ketchup or no ranch!! We
When we left, the cashier & another guy looked directly as we walked out & never said a word: no goodbye; have a nice night; hope you enjoyed your meal, not 1 word.
This particular restaurant is in dire need of new management & keep the staff on top of sweeping, keeping the tables cleaned & the condiments stocked!!
It's been a while since I had one of these mini-burgers and I enjoyed the nostalgic experience. The food was good. Service was acceptable. I was not impressed with the cleanliness.
Burgers were good but the whole experience was downgraded because every table was dirty, the carpet was filthy, the soda machine was dirty and the overflow tray was full. Not to mention the area surrounding the drink machine was sticky and wet. I didn't notice how bad it was until after I ordered, so unfortunately I had to stay and eat my food. Will definitely avoid this location. If the guest area is this bad I can only imagine behind the counter.
I was this close to asking if I could clean up the place.
Make sure to submit a review on the corporate website. I don't think anyone reads these from a management perspective.
The place was dirty, trash cans so full that you couldn't use them. Tables were dirty and sticky. And the floor was possibly the worst I've ever seen. Staff not at all friendly, but the food was good as usual. Will never step foot inside again, drive through from here on out.
09/22/24 Lobby is very nasty. Men’s bathroom is a Disaster they don’t clean this restaurant at all.
Place was extremely dirty. Tables and floors very scummy and sticky. Bathroom was disastrous. The deep fryer was not vented well. They really need and overall. I do love White Castle and stop whenever I see one, but this one is a no way!!!????????
Crave Case Baby. Every Time we go back. Just the memories are worth it. Usually get the bacon ranch fries, a few 1913s, a couple doubles, and a big red. Unfortunately, no more big red but the have Barqs Red Crème-not the same but every thing else is wonderful at least that once a year thing.
This place is a disaster! The floor is soaked with spilled soda. It's a continuous slushy sticky surface that your feet cannot escape. The dining area was an absolute mess! There was no napkins. No straws no lids no condiments. All of the drinks were out of the drink machine. The bathrooms look like they haven't been cleaned in YEARS. How this place is still open is beyond me. The health department needs to shut them down! I handed the cashier cash and it took them over 15 minutes to figure out how to make change. I eventually had a call for the manager because I couldn't watch this poor kid struggle any longer. CLEAN YOUR STORE! ????
