Booked the event room for our company Christmas party last weekend. Private room was great, food (prime rib buffet) was great and service was even better! I appreciated the detailed booking through email for our large (50 people) group. My employees loved their cabin stay after the dinner. Looking forward to booking again for next year.
This used to be a great place to eat occasionally. When we walked in we waited for 5 minutes while the hostess told us she had to finish typing something into her computer. Then we sat at our table for over ten minutes waiting for someone to come take our order. We never even got drinks. Seemed like the staff had no direction, leadership, or really any understanding of how to do their jobs. Quite a few tables were just people waiting for someone to take their order. No one was getting coffee refills or water refills, and they weren't even busy.
We finally got tired of waiting and went to Gold Creek. We were greeted, sat immediately, and had our order taken in a short time.
Kind of sad really. We used to love this place, but it seems like the staff needs some serious training. Maybe we should have sat in the bar, but we kind of wanted to see the river.
Went to the restaurant for lunch with my husband. Much better service than last year and they are seating in the dining room again (where the view of the river is). Our meal was good (Prime Rib sandwich and BLTA sandwich) but more comfort foods and also healthier options would be nice. We haven’t stayed at the cabins, $400 a night is pretty high compared to what you can find in places like Leavenworth if you want more to do.
We just got back from a truly wonderful weekend. A large group of us stayed in the RV sites and we were welcomed by the front desk staff (I didn't get her name, but she was extremely friendly and helpful). The RV sites were gorgeous ❤️ with absolutely NO smoke in the air. We spent most of our time relaxing in the river, but also made several trips to the lodge. After coming here for over 40 years, it's comforting to see that some things never change. One night, a friendly grounds-keeper even took the kids around the loop on his range rover ????. The large grassy area provides a perfect spot for outdoor activities. We can't wait to come back. Thank you for the memories.
Did not stay here (though I would have loved to if they had availability), but did stop for some food while driving along 410. The scenery here is awesome and relaxing! Erica provided friendly service. Food was good. Bar was open. WiFi is available. Small gift shop inside. Gas station right next door.
Went to meet friends for the weekend. Room was clean. That is the only thing nice I have to say about our stay. My friends left early as their spots were next to the septic and smelled like an out house. I hope they got compensated. So I understand that being pet friendly doesn't necessarily mean the restaurant. The patio is open for that. We got there at 6:45 on Saturday night. Patio closes at 7. The waitress out there watched us sit down looked at her phone and proceeded to ignore us until 7. So now the patio is closed and we have to go back inside and order to go which they then add a 20% gratuity to because it's to go. Really? Next morning we want breakfast patio doesn't open until noon. Get breakfast to the room eggs were supposed to be over easy. Fried flat squished.. one order of toast that is warm bread not toasted bacon not fully cooked potatoes cold. Took it back no refunds redid eggs and toast. Toast is now black one set of replacement eggs and still fried flat squished not over easy. Still no refund ,10 dollar gift card. I will never go back there. I do not recommend. The only reason there's a star is because it won't let me post without it.
For a quick escape from the city, this is your destination. On the river surrounded by the enormous beauty of the mountains, this is the perfect place re-energize and reconnect with nature. The restaurant has delicious food along with views overlooking the river. Lots of river rafters and tubing down the river. The staff are courteous and efficient. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Just stopped by for dinner (didn't stay at the lodge) with my wife on kind of a whim after visiting Bumping Lake. So glad we did. The food was classier and higher quality than we expected, if a little pricey. They had an independent but nationally known band playing in the dining area, which helped create a really neat atmosphere. We'll be back.
