We have are there a bunch of times. The food is always good. Friendly staff. First time we ate there, we ordered hamburgers, fries and of course sweet tea. Our idea is if they can mess up a burger we will not be back. The burger was great, way better than the burger joints. So a several times later we still go there. Great food and friendly staff.
Nice little hole in the wall/small town kind of place. The only reason I didn't mark 5 stars is because their ranch is not homemade. That is a deal breaker for me. We went with a group of people. So, I was able to view and hear about many different items. I ate the gumbo and a side of fried okra. Others had chicken tenders, roast, country fried steak, hamburger steak, okra, and mashed potatoes and gravy. Everything was good. The prices were not that bad either. They have seafood too. It smelled great. I would recommend stopping by on your way through. I will eat there again.
It was a very nice treat. I stopped in for a quick lunch and saw the sign for fried green tomatoes. They were amazing. I tried a little bit of everything they had on the menu. I honestly have to say I am very very funny about my food. Everything was completely seasoned to perfection. I will be going back soon and reviewing everything in depth. The service and prices were great. I would recommend.
This is a fun little place. The food was delicious (even the reheated leftovers I ate the next daywere better than other restaurants I’ve had food from). The only reason I gave it a four is that is feels like they don’t have enough staff for the customer demand. It’s still a favorite with locals and it was packed the whole time so it was worth the wait!
Our family loves to try new places, and this place did not disappoint! From the atmosphere, to the displayed art, waitress, and what we came for-the food! Everything was cooked at time of order, but came out fast, HOT, and fresh! We tried the fried pickles, catfish, chicken tenders, hamburgers, aka a little of everything, and everything was absolutely delicious! Picky kid approved too! Thank you guys for great food and great service!
Got there right at 12:00 barely an hour after they opened, they were out of fried green tomatoes, and fried pickles. The server acted put out when taking our drinks, but she ended up being alot better, and provided decent service. The food was good, above average I'd say, and the ribs were amazing. Dissapointed we couldn't have the "world famous" fried green tomatoes, or the burger options that had them on the burger. That's actually the main reason we drove almost an hour out of our way to eat there....
My wife and I were extremely impressed with the food, great taste and everything was HOT! Will be coming back again soon!
Amazing food! Pot roast and sweet tea is amazing, prices not too bad either! Highly recommend!
